Now don't he look like the smug li'l sellout schmuck?

Hey wait...didn't another high-profile Red Sox player defect to the Yanks, thus preventing the Red Sox from winning a championship for 86 years?

Curse of the Bambino? No, NOW it's the Curse of the Jesus Lookalike!! OH NOES.

Babe Ruth's contract was sold to the Yankees. Damon left for because he wanted the money.

But you are right that he is a "smug li'l sellout schmuck."

I watched some highlights of his press conference. Everything sounded scripted. In fact, he actually sounded like he was trying to read a teleprompter.

He may have written "Idiot", but I think he reads like one as well.

Watching him talk is painful. So many 'ums' and 'uhs' and he's, like, monotoned.

During Damon's press conference, he said something to the extent of "I'm still the same Johnny Damon."

I never knew Johnny Damon was a little bitch.

oooooohhh burn. nice bro

Wasn't he the one who ordered the roast duck with the mango salsa?

This is a sad day. Seeing these pictures makes me want to puke. I'm not a Red Sox fan by any means, but Johnny Damon sold his soul.

"playing baseball is not about the money, it is about the fans and playing for the love of the game, and more importantly, its about tonight, red sox-yankees, i live in boston, and i never want to leave, i want to play here the rest of my life, nothin could change that decision" - Johnny Damon - 2004 ALCS

Ah, that was very wrong from Damon. He shouldn't say those words.

Now he is just another Benedict Arnold.

I hope Damon gets booed like crazy whenever the Yankees come to town. This is the way NOT to leave Boston. Look at guys that have left on good terms from the 2004 team. Lowe, Roberts, and them all got standing ovations as they came back to accept there rings AND in doing this they wore Red Sox jerseys even though they were playing for a different team at the time. I never want to see Damon wear a Sox jersey again. He doesn't deserve to.
