If Mizzou is a 3, Syracuse should be one as well. Certainly no less than a four.

Uh, Missouri should have been a two. You should have known that.

Well, whichever team's fan base has the biggest collective chip in its shoulder is clearly most deserving.

What's with all these damn Big Ten schools?

Conference is not a consideration.

You obviously could singlehandedly do the job of the selection committee. I don't know why they haven't figured this out yet. I guess they really are idiots.

I believe the Wachovia Center is Villanova's home for "Big Games." While they don't schedule enough games there for it technically be their home court common sense says it will be a home game for them. That isn't within the spirit of the rule.

TV-You think CBS wants to do a tourney without Indiana, Kentucky, and Arizona?

St. Mary's and SDSU should be in the field of 65. Too many mediocre major conference teams (I'm talking to you, Big Ten!). Blah.

Michigan got in by beating great teams this year. 10th toughest SOS, RPI was high enough, 10 wins in the Big Ten. I say they were good enough to get in.

Actually, they did play enough to count it as a home court - they played five. Rule says three games establishes a home court.

First off Cal is going down in round 1!

Second, how did 'Zona get in?

Thirdly, I thought it was forbidden for teams to have home games in the tournament. How does Villanova get to play in Philly?

NCAA did try to pull the economy card for travel, but they cover air for all teams, hence there are lots of teams headed to Taco Bell Arena.

I just left St. Mary's (to see the disappointment) and also on Friday night for that "extra game". They were sloppy, very sloppy against EWU. I just had to see the possible disaster, but they should have been in. The stat which may also need Congressional investigation since that seems what they will do with college sport...30 Power Conference Teams get at large bids, 4 non-Power Teams.

Yeah, but you're a Wolverines fan. Therefore, your opinion is null. :P

Objection, Villanova shouldn't be playing in Philadelphia, they played too many games there this year - if you play three games at a site, you can't play there in the tournament, and they played five.

Nova played 3 games at the Wachovia Center and 2 games next door at the Spectrum, I think the rule is no more than three games at one arena. Its a joke but not as bad as an 8th seeded Ohio State team getting to play in Dayton.

I don't think Tradition played into Arizona getting in at least I hope not but who actually thinks they deserved to get in wins over Gonzaga and Kansas are impressive especially the blowing out of the National Champs, 9-9 in the Pac 10, 62nd in the RPI and 0-9 on the road that's horrible I mean they'll put up a good fight against the Utes and maybe even upset them.

We say it every year the the committee should look at who should be in who should be out we should just look forward to a great tournament.

1. How in the hell did the Big Ten get 7 teams in? What the hell is that?

2. Mississippi St. vs. Washington in Oregon? One and done. :(

3. The South's going to be one HELL of a bracket. I say the champ goes through there.

Because the SEC sucked this year and didn't get their traditional 5 and the Big East slaughtered any of its slightly mediocre members.

/ :censored: it on the "Conferences are not a consideration" argument.

Looks like it's the strongest but whoever does emerge as the regional winner is going to be so ground up they'll be in tough when they get to Detroit.

Quote me on this when the time has come April 4th the Final Four will be

Louisville vs. UConn

Pittsburgh vs. Syracuse

I quoted you :D .

I'm gonna have to really think about this, although I'm pumped about the teams in the Midwest Regional (I already said that didn't I). I hope the Buckeyes can knock off the Cardinals in Round 2. I also think this is the year for a 16 to win one.
