TFoA Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 This was said by the Falcons FO during their State of the Franchise town hall meeting that they were doing tonight. A 40+ year season ticket holder asked a question, made a comment about the 1980 Falcons/Cowboys playoff game and was wearing old school Falcons stuff, and it apparently jogged the memory of the guys, and they basically confirmed that they're going to be wearing throwbacks this year. We don't know what year, but the red helmets are going to make a comeback. So I'm guessing that it's going to be this:And of course, I gotta do it: ColorWerx, is this for real? NFL teams can only wear 3 uniforms in a season, and this throwback would make 4 unless they cut out one. They could go for that look. Regardless, this is my favorite uniform the Falcons ever wore. The black-heavy set of Glanville and Primetime was far too plain.Even if doesn't see the field, looks like Reebok plans on making this:Hopefully that's an error - those numbers better be gray when the finished product hits the racks.
