illwauk
If the Brewers break their slump and end up in the playoffs on account of those unis, it'll probably spell the end of the Miller-inspired identity altogether. I don't see how they could justify keeping it around when the BiG look is overwhelmingly preferred by the fans and the players think its lucky. As you can imagine, I'm rooting for the Brewers even harder than usual now

FiddySicks
As much as I love the current Brewers uniforms, it just makes too much sense not to go back to the BiG look. It's just so solid of a look. In fact, almost every one of Milwaukee's uniform sets have looked awesome. Im not much for a mashup of different eras, but in the Brewers case it'd work extremely well IMO. It won't happen, but I'd love to see the Brewers swap their colors and wordmarks around a bit. Keep the current gold and scripts (mostly so they can use that awesome M wheat logo as a sleeve patch), add the green from the last set in place of blue, and keep the BiG logo. Not many teams use green, it'd tie in with the Packers a bit better, and the whole park uses a pretty interesting shade of green that I think would work really well with gold. And I as well don't think the BiG logo would look too out of place matched up with the current scripts, unlike the Nats old set did with the curly W and beveled scripts. In a lot of ways the BiG is so wonderfully generic that it'd fit with most any uniform set, yet it's still unique enough to fit with the Brewers. zooropean
Speaking of the Twins, have they ever worn these? After this season, they should ditch those hideous throwbacks and rock the vests at home for a change of pace. They also need to make a Minnesota script that actually matches the Twins script. The Twins retired the vests. If anything, the Twins should bring back the red alt at home. I have one and it's pretty sharp. Keep the blue alt for the road.As for the M hat, I think it will be quietly retired like the vests.

I was mad for about 3 seconds before I realized I should take pride in the fact that my city is apparently off-putting to little folkies and created the sig If the Brewers break their slump and end up in the playoffs on account of those unis, it'll probably spell the end of the Miller-inspired identity altogether. I'm as big a fan of the Germanic look as anyone here, but it was sullied by coinciding with the worst era of Brewers baseball and won't ever be coming back full time. Legend
Just noticed after the Mets/Giants highlights tonight, the All Stars were wearing the patches on their hats.Is that new this year? I know the actual stars on the backs of hats and jerseys are being used, which looks kinda cheesy to me. But this is an awesome idea, I can't believe I missed it last year if they did it. But having the guys who are all stars wear the hat with the patch before the game is a really cool idea and neat way to recognize them.A nice and classy patch on the hat, no need for the stars all over. Not to mention those orange jerseys are awesome, but that's not related to the hat patch lol. Sodboy13
Angels are making some small changes, more removals and reverting than anything. In addition to stripping off all of the 50th patches for next season, I'm guessing/hoping this means a farewell to the redundant "Angels Baseball" sleeve patch, and maybe, just maybe, gold halos full-time. Billy B
Watching the Giants in orange yesterday, I found something that really distracts me about that look. The cream pants just didn't seem to go well at all with the orange jersey. It's like the colors are too similar to each other that it looks bad. The only way to fix that would be to wear white pants, but then they'd have an unnecessary pair of pants and a pants color that's nowhere else in the uniform. It's simply to sell merchandise, and often just duplicates what is already on the sleeves. Of course, as in the case above, the sleeves are often filled up. Still, now they have stars on the jerseys and cap plus a logo. It's overkill, as most cap patches are.
