PurpleRush
Everything is second to the Miracle on Ice, but here's something that will always give me chills.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX9r6n-OOR4The start of a dynasty. This could be the worst call of a championship winning play ever.Summerall and Madden weren't prepared for the moment one bit.I know Summerall was at the end of the line, but he had done a fine job all gameuntil this point.Gil Santos' WBCN radio call of the moment is just tremendous.Granted he is the team's announcer, but he is just as fair to the other teams as he is excited for the Pats. The FG call starts at the 2:18 point.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1Y1tyymJQg

loogodude90
In baseball, Cal Ripken breaking the streak was the most memorable for me. It was also the only sporting event I have ever recorded. In basketball, Gilbert Arenas scoring 60. I won't forget that game.Kind of homerish, but yeah. scooter13
I can't post videos of them, but ANY Stanley Cup presentation has given me the chills. It's such a magical moment for those involved. However, being a Red Wings' fan, this was my favorite. I know for some videos it's the announcers who make the moment, but I don't care. What gives me the chills is remembering how I felt when I was watching this. TheClevelandHockey
Anytime Tom Hamilton says, "Ballgame! The Indians win it!" stops me cold.Hell, anytime Hamilton says anything remotely important it sends chills down my spine.http://www.youtube.com/embed/dEuQ8LQufCw What really gets me is the "great fan" stuff. It's sad to think of our country as a "Steeler Nation", because that would mean that we're a country of near-sighted inbreds from the mountains that can't speak competent English.Let's go Brownies! You mad because the Tribe is stylin' on you? gingerbreadmann
Is it really possible to get chills from something you didn't witness as it happened? A lot of people are mentioning the Miracle on Ice or Kirby Puckett/Joe Carter early 90's WS moments whom I'm pretty sure weren't even alive for them. It's possible hearing a lot about them (and, in the MOI's case, Miracle the movie) helps make it more real, but I've always felt the chills come from reliving the moment, not imagining what it was like. tBBP
The first one isn't "chills", per se, but rather, total, utter and complete pwnage. I remember watching this while at work w/ the rest of my crewmates. Soon as contact was made, the whole breakroom just BLEW UP. Dexter Reid got knocked into last week here... Then, there's this one. I was over in the dirt when this took place. This one didn't bring chills...it dropped SILENCE. We played this live in my dining facility. Little bit of background: Roy Jones won the first bout against Antonio Tarver by a controversial split decision...but to do so he has to do something the boxing world had ever seen him do: dig way down deep, show some serious heart and, well, box. And even then, many felt (and for good reason) that Tarver should have won. Either way, Roy looked visibly drained and beat up after that fight. But none of us saw what was to come in the rematch--or at least not so suddenly. You wanna talk about "pin-drop" silence? Watch as the Magic Man's perfectly-timed left glove drops a champ, a DFAC, a city (Pensacola, his/my hometown), and a whole lot of boxing fans to its knees--or rather, flat on its back--in one split second.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6ckwhJCREY *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||
DelayedPenalty
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hbfXI9bqDo1:52 and onwardDale Earnhardt RIP The absolute excitement in Daryl Waltrip's voice seeing his brother win, combined with the sudden turn to "I hope Dale's alright. I guess he's okay. Right?" is hard for me to watch. The only celebrity death that I've cried about. I tear up every time I watch it.
CrookedThumb
Also Matt Bryant's 62 yard game winning fieldgoal.Secondedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcFsUCyGQbMAnd as a Gator fan, I have to also go with Earl Everett sacking Troy Smith without a helmet during the 2007 BCS National Championship Game. MDC
I sorta see what GingerBread is saying, because you cant really remember happening, and your emotions at the time. That being said, I wasn't alive for a good portion of Michael Jordan's reign, but watching videos like this never fail to give me chills. Also, Devin Hester's Super Bowls kickoff return. This one gets me because for two weeks everyone was just basically saying, "What if he actually takes it back?" and he just went out and :censored:ing did it, like it was no big deal.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgPqmuGFQS8 ---Owner of the NHA's Philadelphia Quakers, the UBA's Chicago Skyliners, and the CFA's Portland Beavers (2010 CFA2 Champions)---

Drakonius26
A personal favorite of mine, this is was my hometown team winning their first championship. (Skip to 4:29 if you want to see it.) On a side note... the Black Eyed Peas or whatever crappy music act the NFL wants to promote.
