Barkley has completely regressed this year. With the receiver talent he has, there's no excuse for his performance. And it's not even a mechanics issue. His decision making has just been atrocious.

Congratulations to the Aggies -- although that ruins any shot we had at seeing Louisiana Tech in the Rose Bowl... which would've been fun to say the least. ^_^

ND finally, for once, took care of business and made an easy game easy. 60 more minutes of football they can control and 240-300 they can't.

/On the list of things I never thought I'd see would include seeing two Mexican Waves going in opposite directions at a Notre Dame game.

I see people in Lawrence are laughing at K-State's debacle against Baylor.

Meanwhile, people in Manhattan are looking at Kansas and are saying 'You let a third string QB whoop you like a government mule? YOU SUCK!'

No way anyone in Lawrence are going to make fun of K-State with the piss poor year Kansas is having.

Welp, on the flip side watching Oregon or Alabama violate every opening in Notre Dame's hide (thrice even!) is going to at least bring some delight to me. Shame the Domers get the validation first, though.

/At least the Big Ten may be about to blow up Notre Dame's old AND new homes.

Can someone please explain to me what in hell is happening in Columbia right now? Wofford and South Carolina tied at 7 at halftime.

It's the SEC Gauntlet. Every week is a battle.

The option is a bitch, that is the simple answer. Look at their history against FBS opponents...they don't get blown out. They throw 5 passes per game.

No one prepares for the option week after week.

Now, did we play like crap...absolutely. Did we look like a Top 10 team? Far from it. Our OL looked like crap and we couldn't let anything develop.

If K State and Oregon lose tonight and Alabama finds it way back into the championship game...or even the total nightmare for your non-SEC folk, that they play UGA in the National Championship- like last year and years before, focus your blame on those teams who lost. It wasn't the SEC's fault or some crazy conspiracy.

There will not be an SEC CG rematch in the National Championship Game. Notre Dame's not losing to USC and even if they did, Florida State's still lurking around and will have a nice enough resume if they pick off Florida. Also, the humans will intervene to prevent that if possible. They won't prevent Alabama from beating either Notre Dame or Florida State badly, but at the least there will not be a Championship Game rematch.
