They described it as "new Marlins jerseys" on their twitter:

They also said it is now available for sale at the park

Those are fantastic. I like the orange too, but if they're not going to wear it, then please let these blue ones replace the black. I'm not sold on the cap - I think just plain blue would work better than with the contrasting brim, since there's so much color in the logo.

I don't know specifically which orange item you're referring to, but they wear the orange jerseys quite often, both at home and on the road.

I think the Rays should wear these more often. The "faux backs" are better than the Navy alts by a mile. When they were unveiled, I didn't like them just because it looked silly. Now, it is one of my favorite looks for the Rays and with some changes, it would be a great alternate for them.

I guess I just haven't seen it. Whenever i've seen them they've been in black. Either way, I'm pretty sure that they don't wear the orange cap with it, so I'd prefer blue cap / blue jersey to black cap / orange jersey.

LOL It does look like a Super Mario hat.

But you know what? Kudos to him for being the first pitcher to actually wear one. I think it's a little disappointing that a lot of feedback and studying was done with the MLB pitchers helping, yet none of them have even tried using it.

Hope more players follow suit. So it looks a little goofy because we aren't used to it. I bet when batting helmets or helmets in the NFL debuted it probably looked very odd as well and took some getting used to.

Just went into a lids store and they said the all star game hats would be in in the next week

I heard these were going to be totally different this year...same style as the Padre Taco Bell caps, and I'm not talking about the BP caps.

I, for one, am all for the blue having more of a role in the uniform set.
