pianoknight
I think it's just that they did a quick photo shop and use the number font from fox sports.Bingo.Still excited to see OU, however. I really loved how Nike handled the Red River Rivalry last year with the gold accents on OU/UT. Wouldn't mind seeing them explore that notion a bit more. The gold on UT was a bit similar to their burnt orange, but it really popped against Oklahoma's shade of scarlet. 5th in NAT. TITLES | 2nd in CONF. WSU151
With the amount of jersey's these schools have how has someone not come out in the wrong jersey's/helmet/pants?They have good equipment managers and usually a week to prepare. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

New font coming?New chain maile templatePossibly a new number font also. It's a photoshop of their Red River jerseys. They did a mockup of every commit that they signed on NSD. The number font is United, which they use on a lot of their promo materials.I don't think it will really be a new number font if they end up switching to the chainmaile template full time. My hunch tells me they'll start using the Red River uniforms full-time this year, sans gold accents.

So leave it to that game alone and we all will be fine.

Or heck, even against Nebraska if we were still in the Big 12. 5th in NAT. TITLES | 2nd in CONF. Chilton92
There are some teams that can pull something like this off. Indiana isn't one of them. If it were Oregon or Texas Tech--as big a stretch as that might be--, maybe it would be fine. http://www.manic-expression.com

gdu
No offense, but Tech jumped under the clown bus wearing as many grey unis and having all the helmet prototypes as they did this year. That being said, Tech's new black (and even white helmets) looked great this past year.
Chilton92
To be fair, I said that Tech was a stretch. But my point was that Indiana is too "traditional" to be doing stuff like this. Same with last year's helmets. http://www.manic-expression.com
JPDesign
Coach McDreamy effed up any semblance of uniform tradition Texas Tech had.
FiddySicks
I think the blue jersey would look 10x better with white numbers.I'm assuming that if ASU doesn't change their set completely (which is rumored, but I hope not), the yellow to white fade on their black alt jerseys will have to be changed. CrimsonBull9584
I don't see it mentioned, so I will mention it.My friend who works for NAU (Northern Arizona) says that the school will be getting a new logo, and thus new uniforms. He says the plan is for the fall of this year.I trust the source, but I can't say how much of it is true. Personally I do like the current NAU logo, but the football team really needs to update from their Cincy templates.

illini1
I've been hearing disturbing rumors about Illinois's new uniforms. Multiple sources, including a recruit have described the new uniforms as having a "jungle" theme. I have no idea what that could mean since the schools nickname or history have nothing to do with a jungle. The only thing I can think of is that some type of camo pattern was mistaken for a "jungle" theme. The nickname Fighting Illini started as a way to honor alumni and students who fought in WWI.
