Brave-Bird 08
While the Hawks brought "back" the "Pac," their uniforms still reek of a generic uniform and rebrand that has been pretty unpopular with fans. I've always been a proponent of the Hawks going all the way back to their 90s color scheme, but with the new logo and a slight rebrand this past year, I wanted to give them uniforms to match. For context: The Hawks not only unveiled the pac logo, but also have pretty much phased out the Hawk head and the full-body Hawk. However, the uniforms remain similar, with logo replacements being the only changes, and the court, to me, doesn't reflect their new identity. If you check out the team's website, social media, etc., there's been a new emphasis on red, with blue becoming much more of an accent. When I think of the old brand, I think of beveled lettering where navy blue and silver stand out, and piping that also brings the blue and silver into the forefront, with red as the accent. While the team has changed its image, the uniforms remain primarily white, navy, silver and red.So here's a change that reflects their new identity, which has focused on clean and simplistic presentation and A LOT OF RED. jaker52
great job on these. Take the white out of the logo in the court. And can we pretend the jersey sponsors arent there yet? MUNCHEN LOWEN (WAFA) GULF SHORES OSPREYS (IBL)

Clintau24
I love this design. The only thing really bothering me is the Coke ad. (Even if it HAS to be there, the circle Coke logo would work so much better in the 2.5" x 2.5" square vs the wordmark.) "I believe in Auburn and love it!" (the color scheme they should be using).was gonna say this but looks like I got beat to it. I personally would rather see the red-yellow-white colors though. http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98633-2014-nfl-concept-expansion-series-dallas-cowboys/

MJWalker45
Nice look, and it's be something the fans would back, minus the ads on the shirts. Good effort.
michalekd1
Wow. These are a huge upgrade over their current sets. I, too, would love to see these in Red and Gold.I'm also wondering what the side panelling looks like - does the stripe curve and connect to the shorts? As for the Coke ad. Ugh.Great work overall! goforbroke
How does the chest stripe work with the pants strip ... does it go down the whole side of the uniform like ABA Nets or the most recent Sonics? Or is the chest stripe just on the chest like the Current wizards and then the pants stripe is standalone?Either way this all looks great although I can see the crooked number on the front becoming a little annoying over time -- and would it look as good with a single digit?I have a couple of tiny suggestions .. On the White uniform the trim around the shoulder and neck go (from the outside-in) blue to red, so that the inner trim is red and touches the red chest stripe, and blends into it. On the Red and Blue jerseys where the chest stripe is white, you dont have the inner sleave trim white as well - so there is contrast there. I would just try to make that consitant either way .. have the inner sleeve trim match the stripe or dont on all jerseysI would make the ATL on the blue jersey in red text to add more red to that jersey and also to mirror the red uniform which has a blue ATL.And finally -- just my opinion but i think the word HAWKS on the shorts is overkill and distracts from an otherwise simple and clean uniform. (i know its ironic to call this uniform simple and clean when it has such a modern element like the jersey stripe but its still feels that way) Very well done overall
Watchman
This a near perfect set for the Hawks. I'd love to see it Red, Gold and Black personally.

thejblee
As a fellow Hawks fan, I'd just like to say how awesome these are. Great modernization of the classic Nique unis. My one criticism is that you kept the blue, instead of reverting to the classic yellow. You seem to agree that Hawks fans have never really embraced the new identity. I credit that largely to moving away from our classic colors to the current and generic red and blue currently in use. I for one always associate these colors with the Joe Johnson era of continual "ehness" of the team since the switched. I'd argue that in order to revitalize an interest in the Hawks, you have to bring back people's nostalgia of the team's old colors and previous uniforms during the franchise's best years during the 80s, similar to what the Hornets are currently doing. I think your concept does a fantastic job of doing the latter. However, I think that this concept would look even better if you used the team's classic colors and would be essentially everything I'd want in a Hawks uniform. Falcons. UGA. Hawks. Braves. Tottenham Hotspur. Atlanta United
BigRed618
Perfect. This is EXACTLY what the Hawks should be wearing right now. I don't even mind the ad. The only time one would even see it is when the camera does a close-up of one of the players. I honestly don't see what the fuss is about.
The_Admiral
I want to complain about the use of "ATL" over "Hawks" and "Atlanta" but man, this is nice. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
BBTV
That's how I feel. I HATE using ATL on the uniforms, but it really works here. Having the logo consume the extra space makes the ATL fit so organically that it took me a minute to even realize that it even said ATL instead of HAWKS. Nice work. WSU151
I think the logo on the jersey is too much. Using "Atlanta" on the jerseys and keeping the logo on the shorts would be perfect. Since the stripe on the shorts doesn't connect to anything on the jersey, it seems like it should be on the player's right side, with the hawk facing forward (not backward), and then the team wordmark on the left side. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
