Here's the only mention of a new logo I could find, mentioned by the baseball coach on some very bad baseball hats. It looks like they started rolling out the new set at least December of 2018. The script was also on some the baseball team's uniforms last season. Script isn't bad, but the monogram is awful. Overall, it's such a huge downgrade from what they had.

Looks like O SUN. It looks dated. From the 1970s. Whoever chose this has terrible taste.

The "Walking Deacon" instantly reminded me of Washburn University's Ichabod logo. They're close enough, I think, that Washburn could ask to have it changed. I say that based on Iowa vs. Southern Miss.

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they get a letter from Johnnie Walker, either.

Not a change, but an interesting list my school Tweeted out:

Crazy that We were almost the Omaha Unicorns. Kinda makes me wonder how that would’ve been done, like would it be a corn pun? Hol up... heading on over to concepts

That’s really interesting, demons is also super interesting. Also they spelled Wendi’s name wrong, it’s right there on the drawing, that’s embarrassing

Looks like Cortland's getting a revamp. Kinda odd to see them change their Block C essentially to the same one as Cornell and Colgate given they're all in the area, though (granted Colgate's been using the vintage C a lot more this year so far)

PDW must be really inexpensive when compared to other firms. This is the only explanation I can think of as to why they still get work even though everything they do looks like it came from 1997-2006. I know that there are better artists/designers that frequent these boards that could do a much better job and would be over joyed with whatever PDW got paid to make these.

I'm sure that, and that they somehow have a good portfolio. They've done work for Alabama, Arkansas, three U. of California campuses, Colgate, Delaware State, Fordham, Brown, Harvard, Houston, Iona, James Madison, Lafayette, LSU, Ole Miss, NC A&T, W&M, and University of Washington. That's four SEC schools in their profile, an Ivy, two Pac-12 schools, among others. So that, I'm sure, does carry some cachet that helps them get work. Likely AD's go to their counterparts at various schools and ask, "Who did you use to design 'X'?"

It seems like some of that would back fire though. How many of those re-branded not long after or had to update the work? I know that of those SEC schools; Alabama just had them do an ad campaign and the other three were logo/wordmark work: Ark- still uses the side facing razorback and ditched the rest, Ole Miss- Still uses the "Ole Miss" mark, haven't seen any of the rest anywhere, LSU- Still uses an altered version of the LSU monogram and the "fighting tigers" mark, ditched "toonsies the tiger."

PDW always seems to have really thin line weights, it makes it look like clip art or an illustration as someone mentioned. I mean the old one wasn't amazing, but this new one makes it look better.

No because when the Irish came to Ireland and first came in contact with the leprechaun people, they didn't take their land away and force them to move west. Instead, the two groups learned to assimilate peacefully. However, certain tribes of the leprechaun refused to taint the pure blood and moved north into the forests of Ireland, only to be seen rarely, usually at the same time of a rainbows appearance and occasionally at the factories of Lucky Charms.
