They already had a logo that was pointing in that direction: It looks like it was made by a freshman in high school, but just fix the leg of that R, don't bother with the 90-degree text, and lose everything else, and there's your logo. They should have moved on by the second season of the Blackhawks affiliation. I think they could have gotten away with the name change this summer even with everything going on; idpol is showing signs of waning and Rockford's not really much of a heckin-'yikesarino town anyway. For as simple as these jerseys are, they are still an insane upgrade over the previous jerseys. The old Warriors logo was a relic of an older time and was insanely outdated and bad, regardless of the Indigenous logo controversy, I'm not sure about retaining the moose logo (which I thought was going to be the new primary) as a shoulder patch since it is such a different style of logo and the inclusion of the maple leaves to "honour our Canadian history" is dumb as all get out considering they play in the Canadian Hockey League with 51 other Canadian teams. 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I like what they went with though. Having the logo not really match the team name appears not to be an issue in the WHL. To my knowledge and from what I have seen (or more like haven't seen), these were retired a couple of years ago. They don't wear them anymore. Id be looking at either NAHL, SPHL or FPHL.
