Not a fan of SKC's two tones of light blue

As a fan, I'm not a fan of this set at all. I don't like the jerseys and I don't like the gray shorts. Somebody mentioned before, but they're just a little too close to the jerseys and look like they've been darkened from sweat. It's incredibly disappointing considering how little SKC truly misfires on their uniforms.

I was at this game!

So was I. The picture I took from that game is still my computer background.

This was also probably the game that truly sold me on soccer in the US. It was just such a perfect night. The World Cup just ended that day, the weather was beautiful, my family was in town, and they played awesome. It’s in my top five sporting events of all time I’ve ever attended. Knowing this, I absolutely LOVE this kit.

Atlanta's partial stripes are weird and as somebody else mentioned, makes it appear as if they are wearing a bib.  Should have the full stripes or none at all on the back.  Watching some highlights yesterday, I just happened to see Bournemouth AFC and they had similar kit with full stripes on the back.  Granted, the numbers on the back are white and not gold, so I don't know if the gold would be as legible.

This was a pretty pale shade of gold and it was still pretty legible (definitely more than the yellow numbers on Juve in the same era)

Though IIRC in UEFA competitions the number was applied in a black panel

Clearly wasn't paying attention when Cincy unveiled their white kits. Was surprised to see the numbers are black. Thought going with blue numbers would have been the move.

The black numbers irked me because it really makes it looks stock. I know it is right off the shelf, but I don't get why they can't use a team color for the numbers.

Yesterday's sunset:

And they clearly said the pink was selected from the 2-0 win over Portland in 2014, which wasn't a wildfire year.

Fair enough although I must have missed it (filter?). Still I doubt most people around the country and in the region think of Seattle sunsets as hot pink. I still say they came up with that reasoning AFTER the fact. But, on the positive side, the team played amazing on Saturday night.

This will always be a pet peeve of mine.  The adidas stripes that change color when wearing contrasting jerseys and shorts.  Just don't have stripes on one or the other so the color visually carries through.  Red circle = bad.  Blue circle = good.  This would look much nicer if both these teams just didn't have shorts stripes.  Or have monochrome stripes on the shorts.

Ugh.

I don't remember when they were unveiled (last year), but I'm assuming adidas will release a Parley line of jerseys for teams again this year. That's my assumption based off the brands current affiliation/collaboration with Parley, I just hope they come up with something more than black/white kits and inject some color into it.

Kind of OT, but I think we can pencil in Inter Miami wearing pink as a primary

That M cap is fantastic. Pretty sad that the MLS team got a better cap logo on their first try than the local  MLB team in 25 years with 3 different brands.

I hope so, but I don't think we can draw conclusions from this. Minnesota wears a lot of light blue and black in their gear, but have no blue or black uniforms. The official polos that the players wear at special events are blue, for example.

I thought of the same thing. I'd expect though from the Miami picture that they have a heavy influence of pink on their home and/or away kit. I also hope the MNU goes with a blue-heavy kit soon.

Would love to see only the shield on the chest of jerseys, not the roundel around the shield. Does that option exist?

I hope they go with pink as the primary but this is MLS. I bet they wear black at home and white away.
