who do you think
Now I really want the Lakers to bring in Kyrie or Anthony Davis. Both are incredibly selfish players/people who blame everyone else when things go wrong, and Kyrie's head is even more swollen now than it was when Cleveland traded him. Durant's a drama queen too but he might actually make them title contenders, we wouldn't want that. Ditto for Kawhi. An aging LeBackstabber + Kyrie/AD (or both!) + dopey Frank Vogel + incompetent Jason Kidd threatening to replace him every time the Lakers lose + idiot playboy model pissing all over her dead father's franchise + Lakers stans being notorious lolcows = comedy gold. If LA comes up empty-handed this summer it's too likely that LeBron will be traded out of this disaster and then the Lakers will just be another sad sack franchise with bad ownership and no clear path back to relevance. PrimalCookie
I'm in a dilemma right now. I want the Raptors to lose, because them for being a far superior team than the Magic. I want the 76ers to lose, because their players and fans are just insufferable. Can both somehow lose? Please? With a cherry on top?

Ben Simmons is also tradeable too Raptors loss is Leonard leaving at best, Lowry and/or Ibaka leaving as well, but Siakom likely stays as he is their true asset. Who is trading for Lowry at $33 mil and Ibaka at $22?? and there is a 0.1% chance Philly trades Simmons (only a sith deals in absolutes)

It's not like they shelled out tens of millions to sign big-name reserve players. They built a strong roster through drafting and trading, then made a couple free agency splashes. Plus, they all seem like decent enough people and they hadn't won a title in 40 years before this run. That being said, I'd much rather see any of the other teams left win the Finals. I can’t speak for anyone else, but it’s fun to hate on a great team (especially when your own team is hot garbage ). It’s kinda what we do as sports fans. And the Warriors do have a fun team, objectively speaking. When Curry, Klay and co. are going off, it’s thoroughly entertaining. They built that team from nothing. They deserve a ton of credit. Durant is what transformed this team into the hatable juggernaut for me. He’s a spineless, coward who took the easy way out. I really want Giannis and the Bucks to beat them.
FiddySicks
“Spineless coward” He’s a damn basketball player, for Christ’s sake. He chose a new team in free agency. It’s not like he deserted his troops at Normandy and joined the Nazi cause or something. It it really amazes me how little self awareness sports fans, but especially NBA fans, have at times.

Top player in the league, that could turn multiable teams into championship contenders, instead signing with not only the team that beat him in the playoffs, but just won 73 games without him (and were already a championship team without him) is a scumbag move no matter how you put it. He basically broke the league by doing that. Hence why we haven't had a Dub-less Finals since 2014.
FiddySicks
There’s a saying about hating the game and not the player that comes to mind here.

FiddySicks
Portland is really putting up a fight here but Dame has been WAY off and they’re just too small without Nurkić. Every time they get close, Denver bullies them around with their size. Still though, if Dame wakes up a bit, they have a good chance. FiddySicks
It’s a real shame either of these teams has to lose. This is one of the most fun series I’ve seen in a LONG time.

This team is a lot of fun.
Wings
Ok Blazers if you can't knock off the Warriors then a least go down fighting. Lots of storylines. The Curry brothers & Dame against his childhood team, having grown up in Oakland.
AustinFromBoston
Congrats Portland! Now step up and claim your prize, the yearly tradition of being the team that loses to Golden in the Conference Finals.
