Even the Rams admit how awful the dark set looks!

I think this thing's rigged.  I've run it 20 times and keep getting the same combination.

It has been reported that the Rams asked the league for permission to wear their throwbacks, but the league turned them down.

This is what annoys me. The team could go ahead and wear the throwback uniforms anyway, and just pay the fine, the way that FedEx and UPS accept parking tickets as a cost of doing business.

I think the Rams should just go back to the gold horns until 2020. They're not bad. Especially not as bad as the white horns are matched with the blue jersey.

Just bring back the solid Vegas gold pants and I think that'd work.

Does anyone know what the fine would be if the Rams wore the throwback uniforms all the time?

Probably a monetary fine but knowing the NFL, they probably would have to forfeit all games in which they were in violation.

I feel like I've seen the punishment for uni violations in the past (maybe the first year USC/UCLA went back to color on color?). I believe in that case, USC was charged a timeout after kickoff and UCLA agreed to burn one as well. I doubt the NFL would have the same rule, but it'd be interesting to see how a pro team would handle that dilemma.

If it's a forfeit of all games, then the Rams should have done this in the past to work on getting better draft picks.

How can the league be so thick and oblivious to an issue which is so easily remedied?

I'm baffled by their foolishness.

You are thick and oblivious to think that the league cares about this problem that virtually no one outside of out little slice of the internet cares about.

It's where I sit.

No, follow the Rams social media and you'll see the fans clearly care.

All the league needs to do is let them wear a blue and white jersey to complement the helmets, it's pure stupidity to make them wear mismatched uniforms.

This will always be my favorite Rams set.

I agree and I said this before, they should've just kept the old set until they move to the new stadium. There was no reason to do what they did. I wanna know what they were on and how much they smoked when they agreed to these changes.

i think the Rams should just change next season if they're not happy with what they got. Meanwhile Jared Goff doesn't have a problem with the look.

I actually like their all white uniform now, it's not perfect but it's passable.

I'm sick of people blaming the league for the Rams terrible, mismatched uniforms.

Yes, the NFL has a five year rule before you can change uniforms... BUT...

1) It was the Rams' choice to wait until they play in their new stadium to debut a new look.

2) It was the Rams' choice to switch the helmet, pants, and logo to white and navy.

The hideous mismatched uniforms are nobody's fault besides the Rams. They could've continued to wear the navy and gold and had a perfectly serviceable uniform set until the new set is unveiled.

Yep, those are sweet.

The Rams have a long tradition of strong graphics.  These 1961 game programs have some of the best design the sport has ever seen.

And, of course, my personal favorite:

Good to see the Rams are reclaiming their tradition of strong graphics game.
