NFL '22 Offseason: Hirings, firings, signings, trades, cuts and cap hits on parade

One neat thing about the Seahawks' fanbase is that people who show up to the games are very different than who you might stereotypically think of a Seattilite to be. The people who come into the stadium Sunday afternoons are a different breed than the people protesting WHO or in Seattle's 2020 demilitarized zone.

That's all to say that there are a lot of fans here who would have zero problem with the Hawks signing Watson. And the people in this city who would probably aren't going to the games (but also wouldn't be above picketing ahead of them).

A Pyrrhic victory for him and his reputation is still in tatters. It doesn’t matter if he gets Mahomes or Rodgers money, he’s going to be broke from the civil suits.

No he’s not, his bank account will be a few million lighter once settlements are made but he’ll still have tens of millions of dollars left. That is if he doesn’t get a summary judgement and pay even less.

We’ll let incompetent financial managers, family members stealing money, and overspending send him to bankruptcy court.

Amari Cooper and a 6th Round pick to the Browns for a 5th and a 6th.

Sigh...

There had to be another reason other than the salary cap for making this move. The easily could have worked the salaries while keeping Cooper (while letting Gallup or someone else walk). Maybe McCarthy and Cooper's personalities clashed in the locker room?

But they couldn't get more than two late round picks? Four years ago we got Cooper for a first. You're telling me his value decreased that much in four years??

:censored: Stephen Jones(and his dad, for that matter).

He may still be suspended by the league too. It was 9 suits dismissed, were some of these combined?
