The people who come into the stadium Sunday afternoons are a different breed than the people protesting WHO or in Seattle's 2020 demilitarized zone. That's all to say that there are a lot of fans here who would have zero problem with the Hawks signing Watson. There had to be another reason other than the salary cap for making this move. The easily could have worked the salaries while keeping Cooper (while letting Gallup or someone else walk).
