It is quite odd how many of these have dropped this week out of nowhere. flyersfan Posted July 24, 2022 Share Posted July 24, 2022 The thing with the cardinals helmet is yes, it is very gimmicky, and on it's own it is BFBS and the red flakes will look okay, the anodized logo is meh. The redeeming factor is it will mesh with their (admittedly not-great) black uniforms wayyyyy better than the white helmet did. Did just enough with it to stand out from the way too many new black helmets with the red flake and logo details, and it still somewhat fits with the Color Rush uniforms (it won't work with the basic black alternates). Not really wowed though. Commanders, Saints, and Jets are all pretty dumb but I'm fine with the rest of them. _RH_ Posted July 24, 2022 Share Posted July 24, 2022 For those of you that hate the new Chicago helmets: do you also hate Houston, Cinci, Carolina (if it had silver/white), and New Orleans (if it didn't have Seahawks stripe)? I think it's weird that Cinci's seem to be positively received while Chicago is basically doing the same thing. Maybe the argument is that Chicago has too much history to alter? Or that using white as a base alt is less "out there" than orange? Personally I don't think I like any of them; just trying to understand why the Bengals got a pass. Maybe I could accept Bengals if it still had SOME orange in the helmet. IMO the Bears are a navy team with orange trim and the Bengals are an orange team with black trim.
