I think that’s an underrated issue that has kept this Bills team from reaching thier potential (which I still believe to be winning a Super Bowl in the near future). Fielding an RB corps of (pretty much exclusively) pass catchers means Allen has to take matters into his own hands in the power run game. Singletary especially just isn’t built for those kind of carries. Just because Allen is built like a fullback doesn’t mean he ought to be played like a QB/RB, and the Bills have been slow to figure this out. I truly think if the Bills had a back that could take that running load off of Allen, they’d get unlocked. PERRIN
1 hour ago, Unocal said: The Rams won a SB with a below average running game They had a super deep front seven, a ballhawking secondary, a dominant offensive line, a slew of weapons at wideout, a future hall of fame quarterback (deserves it at least, in my opinion) leading the offense, a receiver putting up one of the greatest receiving seasons of all time, and Aaron Donald wreaking havoc on opposing offensive linemen. The Bills have Josh Allen and his receiving core, plus some playmakers in the front seven. Everything else could use some improvement before the Bills win a ring. They aren't far off, but they're not quite at the same level. The 2021 Rams may not have had a great running game, but they had literally everything else. 1 Quote Perrin Grubb | Aspiring Designer | NAFA Project ~ NFL Redesigns

TrueYankee26
Well today is the day. Good luck to all of the 49ers, Eagles, Bengals and Chiefs fans here on the CCSLC. Hopefully 2 more classic games today, and then in 2 weeks a classic Super Bowl on what has been a memorable NFL season. Update: Great way for the 49ers to start the game, not! TD Iggles, now Purdy fumbles Update 2: Purdy's hurt too from that hit that caused the fumble Edited January 29, 2023 by TrueYankee26 Quote trueyankee26.wordpress.com

Rockstar Matt
The 49ers have to have the worst QB luck in the league. Down to their 4th string QB. Teams don’t even carry 3 let alone 4 QB’s on the active 46. And they just tied it in the NFCCG. Just an absurd team in terms of talent outside of the QB. 2 Quote Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

DoctorWhom
Well Congrats to the Eagles for making it to the Super Bowl. Even with Johnson, it looked like the 49ers had a chance with how well their defense is playing. But now they can't get out of their own way with all the penalties. Honestly, if this is the best defense the Eagles are going to face, I don't see how the Bengals or Chiefs are going to stop them. Chiefs could maybe make it interesting, but with the Bengals banged up O-line, it could be a repeat of last year for them.

For as much as they’ve been “unlucky” and have had calls go against them, a lot of this is on coaching. For as good at scheming up an offense Shanahan is, he’s probably one of the worst big game coaches I’ve ever seen. Like, he’s been dreadfully bad in so many big games. Like, how do you not have a better backup plan than Josh Johnson? I’m so happy I haven’t wasted my life investing my fandom in the 49ers. What a frustrating franchise.
