I'm looking forward to this reveal.  I'll be in Tucson on business April 16-19.

Ironically, I will be in Tucson as well. Long story, but a lot of my family will be there. I'm trying to get a press pass for the reveal. We'll see.

(We're moving to Prescott in the fall.)

I remember this fondly as well.  Not only was it here but wasn't there a forum from the old SSUR page as well that broke the internet, too?  Or am I dreaming about that?

There absolutely was. That’s how I found this place.

For the record, I'm still hoping that this is all a smokescreen, and the real uniforms will be a modern/traditional hybrid of some kind.

Shouldn't we all be past this?

Every time a bad new uniform leaks (Titans, Jags, Jets, Browns, etc etc etc) people pray it is a smokescreen. No NFL team is spending resources making fake uniforms from scratch just to throw off fans for a couple weeks before the official unveiling lol. Just a ridiculous notion. Leaks are always real.

Now in this particular case nothing has actually leaked yet, right? It all seems to trace back to one Reddit user. And we have absolutely seen Reddit users (and forum members here *cough* Teal) invent fake uniform news because they are, well, sociopaths. This case ... still kinda seems like it could be one of those.

But Tru - if you have a photo of the new helmet in a factory and new pantone values from an actual trusted source and not some random Reddit guy, then how could this one possibly be a smokescreen?

I think I also found this place via SSUR, back in '03 or '04.  Or maybe it was the old Village Voice UW columns (that where I read about the '03 Eagles changes.)  I think the Bills CFL uniforms were either the first unveiling I was a part of here, or maybe i joined right after.

There were several reveals that "broke the internet" (which was a lot easier to do back then!) but I think the most broke the net ever got was when the 'Slug was unveiled.

The three biggest events in board history were the Buffaslug, Thunder OKC's flying guitar pick of red-orange and cornflower doom, and Tank becoming famous.

So....

It's Maroon, Orange and Silver with a white/eggshell helmet I am assuming?

White helmet for sure but the colors seem to be up in the air.

One of the reasons I'm trusting this Reddit user is the level of detail he's providing. And, he's not really a uniform aficionado per se. He also described the helmet down to the letter from the other sources I've seen and heard about.

He is the one who gave me the Pantone values - he read them right off of the press release he apparently has in his possession. I'm not even sure he has all that much Pantone knowledge to make them up. The colors he provided make sense as far as what I can expect from Nike and overall general uniform manufacturing. The individual color choices seem reasonable from a production standpoint. Nothing too out of the ordinary; tried and tested colors. Just a very different combination than we're used to for the Cardinals, or any NFL team to be honest.

It probably is all true, but I still can't believe it's happening. Could be the most radical change we've seen. Traditionalists are gonna HATE this! However, I am keeping a somewhat open mind. I'd like to see how it all comes together.

If I'm wrong about any of it, I'll be back to take my public flogging.

Coming from the midwest to Phoenix, the Cardinals brand  doesn't seem that stron when compared to how other states treat their teams.  growing up I saw Vikings stuff everywhere, even when I visited family in SD. Like the NFL and supporting some midwestern team (Packers, Chiefs, Bears)  is just the default. Down here, no one cares about the Cardinals really. It's mostly apathy or                    just not caring about football at all.      it's so diffeentirely. the cards can def afford toswitch it up. Almost no one down here will care, it might even draw more interest and make it feel more     "authentically" Arizonan instead of the basic brand they have now that could be in any city.        also, please fix thetyping on mobile,I feel like my flphone is having a seizure

The best description of OKC's logo from these here boards was "a guitar pick skiing down a mountain of suck".
