monkeypower Posted June 2, 2023 Share Posted June 2, 2023 What I think is kind of a neat part with the draft hats is a patch on the side with an alternate logo (or the primary again if no alternate logo) and the arena's coordinates on it. The Seattle one is good but really feels more like a Mariners event logo. The Toronto one is one of the most generic things I’ve ever seen. The Devils will host the Flyers at MetLife Stadium for the first game, while the Islanders and Rangers will square off the following night. It's worth noting that the Devils, Islanders, and Rangers were the first teams to participate in the Stadium Series ten years ago. Have to wonder if the event logo will follow the Heritage Classic's lead and make a bunch of nods to the inaugural game held in (roughly) the same location a decade ago. It'll also be interesting to see if Lou Lamoriello refuses to let the Islanders wear modernized jerseys for the event like he did with the Devils in 2014. The Flyers beating a NJ/NY Area and a NY Team (Esp if it ended up being Devils then Rangers) would be too sweet.
