FiddySicks Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 I've always been partial to his one:Love that the orange is one of the dominant colors.I absolutely love that color combination.Infinitely better than what they have now.I like the logo better, but I don't think the helmet is better than the Pewter helmet they use now.There's something I really like about the white helmet.The white helmet with the red facemask has a really nice, fresh look to it, IMO.ehh, I'm not a big fan. The logo and helmet isn'y bad, but the flag is just too long. What they have now is perfect, iconic almost. A metallic version of their current blue would be one of the top helmets in the whole league IMO. Either way, I still think that they made the right choice. I really like the version with the American flag stripes. It almost seems like that design lead to the current Flying Elvis logo. I've always liked the old prototypes the Jags were going to use (actually I like the entire prototype uni set that they were forced to shelf). The current set is ok, but there's something about that proposed set that really works for me. The Jets need to go to this look....http://www.misterhabs.com/nfl-proto.htm....and the Packers should have pulled the trigger on the Vegas gold/forest green switch way back when. Other then that, all of the prototypes shown are, IMO, inferior to what the teams ended up going/sticking with. sacker12 Posted December 23, 2008 Share Posted December 23, 2008 I know for a fact that the Falcons were weighing the option of wearing a red helmet when they went to the current set in 2002. When I was a training camp intern in '07, showed me a book that had the proposed designs from the NFL. It had photos and drawings of logos, mockups of uniforms, and some photos of samples of uniforms. I saw some of the early versions of the current logo.
