Maybe designated the black bill as an alternate status until it fades out.Or, at very least, if having a road cap is so important to them, they need to make a matching batting helmet with a black brim. It's also refreshing to see two MLB teams honor or recognize Italians.BUT on the other hand, being a huge baseball fan & baseball uni fan; these are really not appealing to the eye in terms of jersey or uniform aesthetics. First off, italian isn't like english, where you use an s for plural. Secondly, indietro is an adverb. Maybe they could have used schiene, which means back as in the noun, but the D- has no purpose then. Another option would be to use the Diamondback snake noun in italian, which is serpente a sonagli (rattlesnake. Off topic, but rattlesnakes would have been a much better option than diamondbacks when naming the team)Seeing as how that option sucks, I'm fine with using i D-Backs, because D-Backs is a proper noun(also why I don't mind all of the Noche latina NBA jerseys) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Throwbacks look terribly sized. Pullovers really should be what baseball teams wear as there's no real practical reason for buttons to be on the front of an athletic shirt, but I just think buttons look better.
