mcrosby
I stand by my love of the sleeves, but what the f*** adidas? It looks like the tops and bottoms to two separate uniforms. If you want your new thing to catch on you have to come out with something good to start. https://twitter.com/OutOfThisWC
TaylorMade
I think GS is the only team that could get away with the "26% lighter" claim. Mainly because this version of the uniform doesn't feature one giant patch that takes up the whole front of the jersey.
TaylorMade
ughSo they basically just took the shooting shirts and made them the jersey?
Gr3g3
ughThat is the worst looking Basketball uniform I have seen in years for many reasons, one of them not being the sleeves. Good lord.
eRay
Leave it to adidas to come up with something that could potentially catch on and then present it in a way that it can't be taken seriously at all.The color difference between shorts and shirt is unacceptable, even if people argue that it's just the flash of that camera or something. This is the NBA. And the pinstripes on just the shorts? Why? Wasn't there enough "new" going on here? I admire the thought process, but damn, at least make it look professional. I wonder how this would've been received if they did it on the Spurs' gray alternates, or the Thunder's Navy/White alternates.
Sodboy13
ughThat is the worst looking Basketball uniform I have seen in years for many reasons, one of them not being the sleeves. Good lord.Nailed it. Sleeves on the uniform are not necessarily objectionable. I mention Evansville a couple of pages ago. Proviso East High School in suburban Chicago has used sleeved hoops unis for many years too. But sleeves in the context of this uniform, with its proliferation of mismatched elements and inability to do something so basic as match a shade of yellow between two uniform pieces, contribute to the overall air of, "Well, what the hell is this, anyway?"All that said, I expect sleeves to show up in abundance at the 2014 NBA All-Star game, if not on Christmas Day or in the D-League next season. Sleeves give adidas a lot more real estate to place three stripes on. Foxxtrot44
While I still like the sleeves...I can't help but think how they sure do provide a lot of new real estate on the jersey for.......advertisements! I HATE THIS TIMELINE
jhans203
Listening to the press conference made me nervous that this is going to become a thing. This would have been much better if they experimented with the All-Star jerseys. Then they would find out everyone hates them and regulate it to a one year 'thing'.But, you have to admit there is a lot more space now just PRIME for some ad space. Funkatron101
Taking a unique idea and turning into a complete failure. ...jeez.Sleeves? Ok, I'm open to the idea. But my god make the jerseys and shorts match. These clearly look like two different fabrics and it looks hideous together. Not to mention the pinstripes. DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
Earlier on I said I liked these, seeing those pics make me change my tune a little. Gotta gotta gotta get the same color for the shorts and shirt. That's by far my biggest gripe.
Lights Out
Adidas has done a :censored:tier job with the NBA by the year, starting with the Rev30 switch that ruined several perfectly fine uniforms (Grizzlies, Bobcats, Sixers, Timberwolves, etc.) and now this shoddy, non-matching crap. imawalkingcorpse
If the shorts and the jersey were those pinstripes that would be dope... however.. it isn't like that. I hate the new Buccaneers logo. Pewter was boring in 97, even more boring now.
habsfan1
Gotta gotta gotta get the same color for the shorts and shirt. That's by far my biggest gripe. It's probably just the lighting against fabric effect. Still a lot wrong with this set.
shaydre1019
I like the design sans the mismatching golds and the sleeves. The simplicity of the big stripe on the side looks cool.

Sodboy13
The fact that NBA owners can't agree on how to distribute jersey ad revenue is far more of an impediment than finding space to place said ads. BJ Sands
Get rid of the pinstripes and match the yellow and these are passable, to say the least. Make those changes and get rid of the sleeves and these are in the top tier of NBA alts.Alas.
Funkatron101
They could have continued the pinstriping in the jersey and cut it off at the sleeve hem to make it look like an undershirt. Perhaps that wouldn't look as bad.
