As a dolphins fan I don't really like that and IMO it doesn't really feel like an NFL logo.\

I'd be disappointed unless our uniforms were really sharp to go along with it.

I am a hardcore Dolphins fan and I honestly think our fanbase has been brainwashed by :censored: design over the years... The current cartoon character dolphin logo is an assault upon good taste and I have been forced to wear this disgrace of a logo on my person for more than a decade now.

As much as a people hate the leaked logo, it is a massive improvement over the current logo.

I don't want to instigate the train that is the constant so-called "leaking" of fake Fins logos every day and a half, but I do think that the one in Ellerbe's avatar (was that a concept on these boards? I know I have seen it many times before) looks the best. I think it would be great if they went with that but with toned down colors and minimized the navy blue.

It also looks pretty sharp on a helmet...

thanks :)

Was this your concept? If so, kudos! This concept is what finally brought me around to the thought of using a version of the stadium logo as the main logo. Still my favorite...

You root for a team named the Dolphins. They wear aquamarine. Yet a cartoon logo offends you?

It is still possible to make a dolphin classy looking...

I personally like Aqua and Orange (Not TEAL and Orange)... I think its a fun and fitting color scheme.

But this cartoon dolphin logo that we have had since 1996 spits on my aesthetic sensibilities...

I just really dislike anthropomorphic cartoon animals wearing sports equipment as logos!

yea its one of 32 Pro Combat concepts. rest are on my Behance page. i actually have to give credit to my friend Justin (who works for the Magic) that was the first person i ever heard suggest using that logo (when it was the stadium logo) on the helmet. i think its good too. that uniform is a bit different now though

Okay, two things:

I personally like Aqua and Orange (Not TEAL and Orange)... I think its a fun and fitting color scheme.

I don't think there is any relatively clear definitions of what is teal or aqua other than what teams define there color as. In other words, I don't understand what you mean (unless you trying to say that you don't like it when people call it teal).

But this cartoon dolphin logo that we have had since 1996 spits on my aesthetic sensibilities...

I wonder what you think of the logos the Dolphins had before 1996 (which I think are worse than the current logo), though I agree with you about the helmet looking dumb on the dolphin.

Aqua is more blue, teal is more green. There is a difference.

Honestly the leaked logo isn't as bad as people make it seem. My only gripe is that it's shape won't fit well on the helmet. I just hope they don't scrap it just because of some of the reactions. That's what happened with Michigan State and now they're stuck with a logo that doesn't fit with the rest of the re-branding.

Why in God's name would you pick that horror show as your example?

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Because it's awesome.

Aqua is more blue, teal is more green. There is a difference.

It's the opposite.

Really? I would have thought Josh was right.

I'd describe aqua as being a light blue:

Whereas it's the addition of green that defines teal.

Another reason, I guess, why color descriptions are pretty much useless.
