I'd wet 'em if they did that.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Pretty sure thats a photoshop, looks at the knee area. Wait, they actually did wear the blue pants against arizona. hmmm

It's a photoshop to fix the sock problem. But they did wear them against AZ.

Doesn't it bother anyone else that the home jersey stripes are different from the road pants stripe?

Whoops....I just did a quick google search to find that pic. Should have looked closer and realized the socks were photoshopped before posting.

That's a sloppy photoshop I did last year to show how the white socks should look. As you can tell from the picture, the Bills matched the stripes on the sleeves, then stupidly added a block of blue at the top of the sock, so they blend in with the pants. I just removed that blue.

A team named the Panthers SHOULD be in all black. I usually hate monochrome but it works great for them.

Lose the baby blue...go black. I'm not a fan of changing to black for black's sake but in the Panther's case...actual panthers are black and the team should be too.

But that just brings up the old "are bears navy blue, are eagles green, are dolphins aqua?" arguments. Panthers might be black, but the only reason a football team named the Panthers needs to dress in black from head to ankle is that they look better that way.

How about this? Real panthers are black, but real NFL teams have a contrast of colors between the parts of their uniforms. (IMO, of course :D)

Exactly... if I wanted NFL teams to look like the mascot, I'd encourage them to dress up in mascot costumes.

There's really no reason the Carolina Panthers should wear all black. The players aren't panthers, they're football players. They're not going to run on all fours and devour someone else at the neck.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Custom facemasks have been banned, unless needed for medical purposes.

Lame. I can think of plenty of reasons someone would need a completely full bar mask. Most of them being not getting my fingers bitten off by another player and not having my nose picked/broke from another player. The bottom of those piles can get dirty.

Is that really a concern? You would think that if players got their fingers bitten or noses broken in the bottom of piles, we would hear about it routinely. Plus, we're talking about the big hands of NFL players here - a mask like Joe Thomas's or Ryan Clady's provides basically as much protection to the nose/eyes from prying fingers as one of those douchey "freight train" ones.

Yeah seeing the all white uniform matched with the black accented helmet is kinda strange. I feel like a purple mask would've been better, but it still looks really good. It kind of goes for that argument that the mask is just equipment and not part of the actual design element (the argument sometimes used to justify grey face masks).

The Panthers combo tonight at Philly is black jersey / black pants / blue socks

How long before Ole Jerry relents and we get to see white jersey/black pants/blue socks combo?

Cat Scratch Fever is only going to wear black jersey's 5 times in the regular season (because its just so darned warm in September in Charlotte and we must wear white because our poor players will just wilt in the heat if we don't). So, they'll probably wear the grey pants with the black jersey's a couple of times and that will leave the black pants for only 2-3 games all year.

White jersey's and white pants is a soft look on Carolina. Its soft because of the silver helmet. Pair the white jersey with the black pants 3-4 times a year and you would have something really nice.

I think its the girly-man blue and white that makes them look like girly-men. Add pink in october and its super weak

Well, just to put my .02 in...The Vikes' unis need some yellow outlines on the numbers. They look dull and make the yellow on the stripes look out of place. I'm not a fan of matte colors, so I'd gloss up the helmet. As much as I hate gray facemasks, the black facemask is just as out of place and unneeded. Last year's helmet and some yellow outlines would work wonders.

As for the other teams...I'm sick of the white at home. Some teams will wear white 10+ games out of 16. That's too much.

I'm not un-patriotic and I'm not un-sympathetic, but the camo and pink are good for one game (and that's a stretch for a 16 game or 10-12 game college schedule). It has to stop. Depending on how October falls, your team could end up wearing pink for 5/16 games. I was glad last year when the Bucs wore throwbacks in that time and chose not to ruin the look mixing in pink. I don't see why they can't just have the NFL shield with a pink ribbon on the collar or shoulder for a game or two. You don't need pink cleats, gloves, socks, underwear, etc...even if you auction it all off. Heck, MLB plays 162 regular season games and only goes pink one day and light blue one day.

Yuck.

The Jets really need to tone down the stripes. It's nauseating.

And though they look good from every other angle, the Jags look really bad from a side view. Wow. Anyone else think the helmet colors need to be reversed? It would look better with gold in front, I think.
