Setting aside the shock of seeing you use such blunt language, can I ask why you feel that way? Just curious.

12-4 Raiders as a 5 seed heading in with their third-string quarterback. I wanted to see playoff football at the Oakland Coliseum in case we never do again.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Same here. It sucks that the Raiders went from a serious contender to basically a better dressed version of the Texans.

They probably would've beat buffalo with Brady, and could've benched everyone in that death trap today. Plus, y'know ethics. But believe me, I thank God everyday for Bill Belichick, don't get me wrong

If you're using the "good team loses to a team it shouldn't lose to" metric, then you might want to jump off that Seattle bandwagon. Tampa Bay dominated the Hawks. I saw the game and the score made it look a lot closer than it ever was. I also watched a 6 win Arizona team beat the Hawks in Seattle.  Let's not forget that Seattle also only managed 20 points (and lost) against a Saints team that doesn't have much of a defense. Good teams lose to bad teams all the time in the NFL. It doesn't mean anything.

No offense, but when you don't actually watch games, I find it difficult to take your analysis seriously. :D

Felt that burn all the way through the computer screen. Ouch, dude.

You lost me. How is that a burn? I said nice things about your Bucs. Honestly, the Bucs were a bad example to use. A team that went 9-7 and was in playoff contention isn't exactly a bad team. Anyway, any burns were not intentional.

I felt it was a bad example too! But, of course, I'm a little biased. I didn't know if you might've been saying the Bucs were a rather crappy team with a fortunate record (which...isn't entirely far off from the truth, to be perfectly honest; they were 6-3 in single-digit games this year, so fortune favored them). In any case, I was having a little fun with the "burn" comment.

I picked Seahawks over Steelers in August...I'm not particularly confident in the Seahawks at this point, but I'll ride with it anyway.

Giants over Steelers.

Both teams have looked great recently, and both have key components to win it all: solid defense, playmakers at receiver, and a QB that has a tendency to pull miracles out of his ass.

Of all the teams that scare me in the post season, the Giants don't. Their offense has been putrid all year, and I don't expect it to suddenly improve because "Playoff Eli".

I disagree with this. The Bucs had some problems this season, yes. But they were also basically Roberto Aguayo away from being an 11 win team. Would they have gone far in the playoffs? No. Not likely. But they're MUCH improved.

What I want to happen...Seahawks over the Chiefs (an old AFC West matchup)

I'll settle for anyone but the Patriots or Cowboys winning the Super Bowl. I'm not a Falcons fan either but it wouldn't hurt me to see them win.

What will happen...a Patriots and Cowboys Super Bowl in which I will watch the old NFL Films Super Bowl highlights.

It's been 20 years since the Cowboys won a Super Bowl. I'd be okay with them.

Anyone but the Patriots. (It'll be the Patriots.)
