BrandMooreArt
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQK6Bm3SE4M The navy blue unis look decent, I kinda like them (Navy jerseys with orange numerals look sharp IMO). The white jersey is okay but doesn't excite me. The gray jerseys is like trying to change a dirty diaper.....Ewwwww!!! The numerals are horrible but pretty much what we expect from Nike designers who, I fear, have never taken a course or been properly trained in typography. F.Thats something that absolutely puzzles me. For 2 years now Nike has been creating some of the worst number fonts in the history of fonts at both CFB and NFL level. Except for when they've gotten it right such as Cal, Georgia, and Illinois. FSU passable. Most puzzling is not that these fonts are being made and passed through a group who need a type class to tighten up details but that, they're being made and passed through a group at Nike that have the worst taste in type that you will ever find in sports maybe save for Russels football team. And the clients are accepting them too. Its so hard to imagine multiple people looking at this stuff going "yea thats pretty good". razorback447
Sorry for the double post but per Twitter:"Louisville signs 5-year, $40M deal w/@adidas, sources told @espn. Ranks among top 5 college apparel deals." Generally I prefer Nike over Adidas, but I think for the most part Adidas has had the Cardinals looking pretty sharp. (Except for the sleeved basketball uni's) For one, I'm glad Louisville stayed with Adidas as a flagship for the company. I also agree with your point there about the Cards looking sharp on both hardwood and gridiron. I love the football uniforms (Classic style uniform w/ modern font. Even monochrome looks good for them oddly ) and the basketball set is very solid for the most part (sleeved, not so much). You can expect that to be changing very soon. @UofLFootball: New Adidas contract will outfit football program with five different uniforms, allowing dozen of different combinations, including helmets

This uniform hits a sweet spot for Louisville with a classic look with a modern touch. I wouldn't mind them wearing a black helmet that looks like the pic below (they actually did wear them from 1983-84) with a black uniform. Also with the metallic-like helmet they wore in the Russell Athletic Bowl just a few months ago because it is very tasteful compared to to other chrome helmets. For the uniforms, I could see them add a black, grey (I don't like since UK wears that color), and god forbid, a pink uniform. These are just my thoughts about the Louisville rebrand from a disgruntled Cardinals fan, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if they go all-out for a modern look (which would look terrible in the process ). I bet they have a dog fur pattern sublimated on the jersey and pants and the flywire collars actually mimic dog collars complete with tags and home phone numbers in case they run astray and can be returned back safely to the training facility. Yesterday, I saw 4 football players literally "cyber drooling" over a picture of the new Syracuse uniforms. With that in mind, a page called "uniform porn" is who originally posted the picture on twitter causing them to do so. Ugh.

And when I say tired of matte helmets, I meant that alot of teams try to pull of the matte helmet look and they do it wrong, that's what I'm really tired of. lilgump
Less than an hour away from the UW reveal. I almost get a Nebraska feel with that Utah look. The white shell with red mask and single letter. The World Basketball Championship, the Davis Cup, Ryder Cup, Iraq: Every day there's further proof that we, as a nation, are not very good at international competition.
