Lights Out
I brought this one up a long time ago, but here are the unused uniforms that the Angels included in a 1995 Style Guide:Aside from the silly shoulder panels, another difference is a lighter shade of Dark Blue/Navy...more of a Royal initially.I actually like that. The shoulder stripes recall a jersey that the PCL Angels wore in the '50s:Get rid of the pinstripes, put a matching "Anaheim" wordmark on the road, and it's a good, distinctive look. 1 Quote POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/

JayMac
They fit right in with the horrendous 3rd jerseys of the mid 90s and even the unused Blues monstrosity.

BadSeed84
The penguins and flyers could've really been tacky looking in the mid 90s, at least alternate jersey wise, lol
Sanic
The penguins and flyers could've really been tacky looking in the mid 90s, at least alternate jersey wise, lolNah.In 1992, Ken Loh was in his final year at Cal State Long Beach, working toward a degree in visual communications. He was intern at the Evenson Design Group in Culver City when the firm was hired by the NFL to design some new team logos. He had an opportunity most design students only dream about as he went to work designing a new logo for the New England Patriots. Two decades on, you know it well.Jim Kubus operates a website called PittsburghHockey.net. Like Icethetics, it's a one-man labor of love. And he's amassed quite a riveting history of Steel City hockey.Very close resemblance in insanity though.

Xist2inspire
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prototype helmets. It seems like the decision to move away from creamsicle was a gradual thing, as a lot of these logos use it to various degrees. I like all of them, no wonder what they settled on was so good when things like these were the prototypes. I really like the retro-styled one with the flag logo. And those Penguins jerseys...I really love the color combo, but the only NHL design I've seen that's worse than these is the infamous St. Louis Blues' third. The one on the left falls firmly into "decent on paper, horrible in practice" territory. Quote Tradition is the foundation of innovation, and not the enemy. Pabig
Madden to this day features a yellow Packers jersey that unfortunately was never used. Packers look so great in all yellow, I actually never use the green tops in Madden.
