I'd be curious about how this might look with red as the accent instead of blue. The whole identity would probably benefit IMO, but overall this is among the better city looks. Also, why is Minnesota using "The Cities" instead of "Twin Cities?" Does EVERY team need a "The ____" jersey?

JayMac
The NBA's aesthetics have definitely lost their way under the direction of Nike. It's like they aren't trying with some of these uniforms.

Honestly, since the city edition idea bin is already empty for most teams, it wouldn't even surprise me to start seeing crap like this at the NBA level. I'm definitely not putting the blame all on Nike. The team has to sign off on these.

It might be more efficient to have the same people make everybody's uniforms, but it definitely decreases the quality of the looks.

Also everyone is saying this is Nike's fault. Yes it partly is there fault but the NBA had to approve of the city uniform ideas and teams have final say over the design. projectjohn
I'm not convinced the Pistons have any understanding of the league design rules after all of the misinformation they passed on to the beat writer in this article and some of the stuff he's been posting in his Twitter feed. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/nba/pistons/2019/11/20/detroit-pistons-fans-seeing-red-new-jersey/4248519002/
