What we have here is a perfect example of how changing a font can make things much better.

Winning a title can make anything better (read: more tolerable).

Since the Warriors are having “The City” HWC Uniforms next season, that means that 4 out of 10 Hardwood Classics Uniforms have been announced or leaked. The Rockets (Mustard), Kings (1990s Royal Blue), Grizzlies (Inaugural Teal), and the Warriors. Re-Quote of my guesses from a few weeks ago. Anybody else got any guesses for the final 6?

My guesses:

Blazers

Mavericks

Jazz

Raptors

76ers

Bulls

Warriors (They’ve had one the last 2 years)

Besides GSW, how many are correct @Conrad.?

The Spurs association and icon are basically untouchable and should remain as they are, but could we please, please do something a bit more interesting than what we've done so far under Nike for the city and statement?

The grey alternate is so tired and the Military jersey is great but it's not for everyone.

While i'd be fully supportive of a uniform that subtly used the fiesta colours (a black or white base with the fiesta colours as a trim), it doesn't even have to be that. It doesn't even have to be garish. Is a "San Antonio" wordmark such a big ask?

I think they're an upgrade but I still wish they cleaned up the side panels a bit. I don't like the large white stripes on the side. And the 'bridge cables' are just pinstriped panels and it all looks very busy to me - to go along with a big busy chest logo.

Don't like.

I wonder if the yellow is now their statement? It should be, black doesn’t need to be a Warriors color and that jersey was done poorly. It’d be much much better if the logo was yellow.

Warriors should wear yellow a lot, it’s a great color and is especially awesome on a yellow court. I also love a yellow vs white matchup, it really makes the yellow look bright.

That... Doesn’t make any sense.

Why why would they keep the Oakland themed “The Town” jerseys?

I know people aren’t happy they’re moving across the bay, but they’d be pretty stupid to completely eliminate Oakland from their identity. That said, keeping this jersey around comes across (to me) as a fairly hollow attempt to stay in the good graces of their former town. They’re basically in a no-win situation with all that.

I still don't have a website, but I have a dribbble now! http://dribbble.com/andyharry

I wouldn't be surprised if the Hornets get throwback purples, since we had that alternate in the 90s. Other than that? Who knows, though I'd love for the Blazers to get one.

This is kind of where I'm at with it. I get wanting to honor the past, but keeping the jersey that's a direct nod to a city you just moved out of seems, in some ways, unnecessarily cruel?

This move is a bit of a weird one to me and I'm kind of conflicted on how to feel. Despite some of the hard feelings that people in the East Bay have, I don't really see this as much of a real "move", if that makes any sense. Sure, they're relocating across the bridge to a new building, but unlike a lot of other moves it's not a total loss to the market like other moves have been. The short distance might be slightly more inconvenient to some in the East Bay, but this certainly isn't a "loss" of the team like the Raiders moving to Vegas or the Rams moving to LA, or even the Chargers to Los Angeles. This is more of just moving to a new neighborhood in the same area. It's basically like the Cowboys moving from Irving to Arlington (And even a LOT less so than the Niners moving from Candlestick to Santa Clara). In that sense, I sort of understand keeping the Oakland based jersey, to help appease the East Bay crowd. It still feels a bit strange considering the move is so fresh.

Plus, I can't imagine they would play their first season in The City and NOT have some sort of "San Francisco" marked uniform ("The City" and "The Bay" is nice, but they're really not going to try and capitalize at all on the SF brand? Isn't there some cachet to that name?). Keeping the Oakland themed uniforms and not adding any sort of SF based uniform feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.

I'm wondering how the Warriors' road blues would look if the white side panels were switched to yellow. That's honestly the only thing I don't really like about their blues. The white placement is just odd, though I'm fine with the way it's currently configured on their home whites. Oh, and maybe converting the wishbone collar to a V-neck. The current collar doesn't work under the Nike template.

I wouldn't say that the Spurs current home and aways aren't untouchable. The side panel logo they've worn since the Nike takeover is a downgrade compared to what they've worn before. Also, the side panels overlapping the shoulder cuffs is atrocious. I do agree with you about an homage to their set from the 70s and 80s.

I’m totally down for a light blue and orange. I absolutely loved the light blue city jerseys they had two seasons ago. It’s a clean cut and cold combination. And would be such a fresh breath of air.

Plus i believe it would leave the sixers and Pistons to be the only rwb team? Which judging from previous comments that they are the two most deserving teams of rwb.

You forgot about the Wizards, and I wouldn't expect them to change any time soon.

Light blue & orange would definitely be more original than red, white, & blue, but the Thunder already planted their flag there.
