Brian E Posted January 29, 2019 Share Posted January 29, 2019 alright, so here's an interesting tweet: so what i did was i took this mock up, used the sport green from colour lovers to throw on the jersey and the helmet, then added some black elements. please note that 1) i'm not a designer (which is very obvious from this), so excuse/ignore the crudeness of this, 2) it was done in MS paint, which again, should be pretty obvious when you look at how crummy it is. nevertheless, here's a stab. getting warm? Just angling the stripes, new number font, that sorta stuff. Of course, I have a very low expectation for journalists to get this stuff right. We've been told teams are only making minor updates and then it's major changes. To non-uniform-heads, anything short of new colors can be "minor." Agreed, but FWIW: there's a longer thread on Salfino's timeline where he says he can 100% confirm there is a black alternate, and he shoots down the fake "leak." He said that jerseys and pants would both be available in green, white, and black, and that the logo would not be a radical departure from the one they've had since 1998. Never got those. I don't think white side panels on a color jersey look good. I don't think most side panels look good. But your country seems to like them.
