Too much yellow and blue. Two teams in same stadium need separate color schemes.

I agree with this. They should come to some sort of compromise. Have the Rams go to royal and yellow, and have the Chargers go to hell.

That LA logo is great.

My only nitpick is the placement on the hat.  I assume it is centered relative to the outside edges on both sides.  However, it looks off center to me since the widest parts of the logo are at the bottom.  I think it might look better if it was centered directly on the gap between the tops of the L and A.

Rams should go to: Royal and Yellow

Chargers should go to: San Antonio

Yeah, the idea that the Rams would wear navy and white to differentiate from the Chargers' powder blue and yellow is predicated on the Chargers committing to powder blue and yellow, and if the Chargers could ever be counted on to make the smart and self-evident choice, they wouldn't be sharing a market and stadium with the Los Angeles Rams in the first place.

It might work if Rams are Royal and Athletic Gold and the Chargers go Powder Blue and Yellow.

The Royal and Powder Blue are different enough and will probably be the more predominant color on uniforms.

Or the Rams could be yellow and blue, like their color rush jerseys.

The Rams don't look good right now and it's the NFL's fault. They can't change their jerseys early due to like "brand and merchandise" reasons and I somewhat get that, but they are allowed to significantly alter their helmets and pants which has created this awful monster mash of competing elements, which I don't get at all. How the hell is that the better solution? Either let them change the entire look early and sell a million new jerseys or make them wait until 2019 to make any changes at all, pants and helmets included in that. It's so NFL to paint themselves into a corner because they made up some pointless half measure that satisfies nobody while also looking like s***.

The Rams haven't changed uniforms in 15 years... they don't HAVE to wait for anything. They made a horrible choice to "stay the course" with the old uniforms while the stadium was being built, and now they regret it. Not enough regret, however, to just rebrand as fast as Nike can pull the trigger, and forgo the new football palace moment of glory.

... haul ass at 90 mph with nary a CHP officer in sight. Try doing that driving the 120+ mile hell that is the 5/405 between San Diego and Los Angeles/Carson/Inglewood. On weekends that journey is a 5 hour trek on a good day. Weeknight... well I hope you have a War and Peace on MP3.

While I'll concede that Southern California traffic can be a bear, I can honestly say that in the 14-plus years that I've maintained footholds in Southern California, I have never had the drive from Santa Monica to Coronado (or, the reverse journey) take longer than 2 hours and 20 minutes. And that's happened twice... both times the result of accidents causing delays. Normally, I can make the trip in somewhere between 2 hours and 2 hours, 10 minutes. It's all about when I choose to get on the road.

During the week, I'll set out - in either direction - at 8:00 PM. While I'll hit pockets of traffic at various points along the way, the majority of the trip will be smooth sailing. On the weekends, I can either opt for the 8:00 PM departure, or elect to get on the road sometime between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, and have the same results.

Perhaps I've just been lucky.

I'll now return this thread to its regularly-scheduled discussion of the Los Angeles Chargers' branding.

They do if they want to consult with the fans in LA about uniforms for the stadium opening.  It's not about how long since their last change, but how long before the next one.
