It's a hokey organization that relies on gimmicks - be it their uniforms, their ugly-ass stadium, the dumb sirens they play, the cheerleader PA announcer - to get any attention, and even then, their stadium is typically filled with visiting fans.   Joke uniform, and joke franchise.

Yet they’re still the best pro sports franchise in that city. Absolute cesspool.

Well when you are competing with the Diamondbacks and the Coyotes, you can easily be the 2nd best franchise in the area.

You also got the suns, they have Atleast been a consistent playoff team. And with this past Lear finals appearance they are put on par with the cardinals. I’d say the suns uniforms are better better because Atleast they don’t look dated.

Suns get knocked down for being owned by Robert Sarver.

Not a fan of the blue pants, but I love the blue facemask and striped white socks. You can't have blue pants simply because you have to idiotproof the set, lest players want to wear them with blue jerseys and socks.

They have them in the closet, but as @the admiral said…

Someone needs to show the Colts that it’s perfectly okay to use blue facemasks

This was a perfectly color-balanced uniform. Blue and white. Simple. Effective.

If I recall correctly, the shift happened as part of a broader, let's call it Unitas-isation of the Colts identity in 2004.

At that point they not only shifted to grey facemasks, but also black cleats and striped socks. The base color blue also became less vibrant, shifting from Pantone 280C to Pantone 654C. The sock stripes were ditched in 2006, but the color change remained until 2020 and the grey facemask is still there.

The league made Pedro knock that off so instead he just had his sleeves tailored to be huge.

I still don't get how this is legal.  Even though the slob shirt eventually tore, he was visibly slowed for a moment while the defender was pulling it.  The players are stupid, their coaches are stupid, and the league must be out of Fs to give when it comes to uniforms.

For real. I don't know why offensive players would A. want to look like slobs and B. make themselves easier to tackle. Tuck your damn shirts in!

Am I the only one that doesn't think the Colts look right in blue facemasks? I Don't know if I just don't feel like they work with the more traditional aesthetic of the uniform or what, but I think gray is perfect for them.

If we want to talk about a team with a white helmet that could (and should) pull a blue facemask off, let's talk about the Bills.  They wore that look from the late 70's through the mid 80's, and it worked much better with them than the Colts.

The Jaguars held a salute to service charity event where volunteers were given teal #21 jerseys left and right, and many of them (would appear to be all in the men’s cut) were mistakenly screenprinted with numbers made for the black jersey, making the flushed black outline into a contrasting one. In case you were wondering what that would look like. I could take it or leave it, personally. I’ve come to appreciate the outlineless aesthetic and really wasn’t a fan of the single outlines that the 2009 set used. I would also rather they added more gold before putting any more black on there.
