Those I guess are the hardcore fans who would buy anything with the teams logo on it because they want to wear what the team wears. The Sabres had a lot of potential to bring something great in their uni/logo package, but they disapointed me. I'm honestly not a fan of the numbers on the front, but I don't mind the shoulder logo. We think about design issues and analyze designs more than others groups. It's because we're designers and people who are at least interested in the field.So, we look at this design...on ALL it's merits...color, striping, consistancy, flow, tradition, logic...and we make a decision. And the majority of us agree that this designs fails on most of those issues. What's this "we?" Are we talking like a Tyranid Hive Mind? Or it might be a really, really bad one that failed so badly that people still can't stand it.But when something is made new, it should be made right, and if it's not, it's gonna be trashed at the start. What does Albert Pujols think of these new Buffalo jerseys?These uniforms look decent. Not great, not crappy....decent. I actually like the jerseys other then the above (which is hard to admit being a lead fan) but hate the uniform, and actually don't mind the slug, i think it's a good, logo just not for this team. for a football team it would be great. So this way, parts of the pants match both the new jersey and the vintage! winters in buffalo Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Ghastly.The logo sucks, especially 'in context'.The patchwork of colors on the sleves looks like a jumbled mess.The aformentioned patchwork doesn't fit with the striping on the pants and socks. They didn't go with vintage pants to match the throwbacks jerseys. It took 10 years to fix the last mistake; I'll be retired before they get it right. Thanks, for listening, guys.
