Lions uniform changes

I just got a Kitna jersey for 15.99 with tax and shipping and handling. Great deal

Except that you end up with a Jon Kitna Lions jersey.

It's a cheap Lions jersey, I don't mind. I already have about 4 or 5 to begin with, but a deal is a deal.

Your Kitna jersey would go great with my Charles Rogers jersey!

It would go great with my CJ, Rogers, Harington, 2 Sanders(home and away) and Kevin Smith jerseys.

LOL...FWIW, in the Lion's store sale, I picked up a Lem Barney jersey that very similar to the Billy Sims era with silver numbers outlined in white for $30. I met and talked with Lem Barney a few years ago. A class act. They have Ernie Sims jerseys for $20. Changes they are a-comin'...

My most-cool Lem Barney jersey...I'd be happy if the Lions would just go back to this style...

Back to the topic, Anybody have an answer to my qusetion of whether the black being kept by the Lions is just in the logo like the Chiefs or does it remain throughout the whole uniform? I was really hoping we would'nt be seeing that black facemask again.

I'd be surprised. That Chief's logo black is sort of an older design thing. These days, everything is so coordinated I seriously doubt a team would debut something new that had that kind of mismatch (although the Vikings did just a few years ago, so you never know).

Speaking of the Lions logo...

At Ford Field, the current logo is everwhere... incluyding imbeded into the facade as bas relief sculptures... very hard to remove. It'll be interesting to see how they deal with that.

They should leave the Lion logo alone, that's how they should deal with it.

obviously they are not going leave it alone. They are changing it. Not much from what we heard though. More of a Cardinals,Vikings or Falcons logo update.

Nope. More traditional than those. No piping whatsoever.

I believe he's speaking about bubbles, not the uniforms.

But good information, nonetheless!

From where I am sitting at my desk, I can see the huge FORD FIELD lettering on the side on the building.

Maybe they won't completely screw it up.

His eyesight has to be better than his ability to spell "Gaithersburg."

I check this thread several times a day with the hope that ColorWerx has stopped by to drop a nugget of knowledge.

I think that's illegal in most states.
