I'm thinking it would look rather well, but only if they eliminated the blue all together. I like the color combo they're wearing tonight, but I hope the jerseys would look a little more modern. It appears to me that the extra line is UNDER the wordmarkunrelated to anything above it. This would be the line below the E in Clippers.The line in between the P and E mathces up with the line on the top left.The line under the R matches up with the line above the N in Angeles,leaving the one I pointed out matching up with nothing. I like the color combo they're wearing tonight, but I hope the jerseys would look a little more modern.Yes, the report is that they are indeed going to a darker "wine" and the "yellow gold" as seen in the Alternate jersey tonight. How the blue mixes in will be tricky. With the darker wine, the blue appears a bit purple. (I was messing around with the colors.) I do like the logo as rendered in this topic, the red should be a bit darker. The yellow gold does makes the logo "pop". As most everyone else has said... who knows? I too will make my final judgment when everything is introduced.I like what Golden State has done. The font is very underwhelming, though. I like teams settling back in to their original colors. powersurge Posted May 8, 2010 Share Posted May 8, 2010 Not a fan of the change that Cleveland is making in regards to the "gold". I just don't see what was wrong with the metallic looking gold. The brighter yellow seems to dominate the logo in a way that it shouldn't. Again, I just don't see the need for the change. Then again, I don't see the need for 16 alt jerseys but thats been discussed to death already. It's a detail that most probably won't notice, but that absolutely tickles the fancy of us logo geeks. I'll for sure be grabbing a T shirt when they come out.
