But that's the only thing wrong with this uniform (aside from the silly extra set of socks some players like to wear).Well, and that every pic of them seems to show two guys doing Baryshnikov moves. I just think the Titans package as a whole is uninspired (the name is retreaded from New York) and the uniform and logo are below par. The Oilers logo and uniforms were one of the best ever.not quite. For EVERY single game, that the Titans play in the "dark" uniforms?That is easily, the WORST combination they could possibly come up with. And they wear it all the time. I just don't get it.The Titans, on paper, have a good color set. Light blue, navy blue with some red trim and white, could really work. But the way they execute it is just completely wrong.And the helmet? Should have never been white in the first place. Should be light blue or navy blue. A white helmet with that particular logo, just looks strange. A white helmet with light blue jerseys and navy blue pants? A disaster.And I am with Paul Lukas (for one of the rare times)....all of that pink did visually hurt my enjoyment of the Steelers/Titans game tonight. What a mess all of that pink garbage was for both teams. Along with some of the yellow and light blue shoes, and you had a complete hodge-podge of colors that just screams "rec-league". The NFL ought to be ashamed of how their league is now looking. The pink stuff, should be done for one home game ONLY, per team. And the team shoe thing should have been a non-starter from the beginning (unless the entire team was going to wear them). Just makes the NFL game now less kept and visually sloppy, for many teams. ColeJ Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 barring the mismatched helmet stripe, this uniform is just perfect enough to make me able to live with the "Dark" set. i hate the navy pants with the columbia jersey, but the columbia blue pants with the white jersey is what makes the current get-up better than the inaugural get-up. vs not even close, imo. Great for a one game throwback, though the G.U.D. believes the pants may have been tan and that the socks were reversed (should have been yellow with blue stripes). Wear the friggin' white pants at home with the columbia jersey's. Or wear the columbia pants with the columbia jersey's for a game again. Or even wear the navy jersey's with the columbia pants (which I think they did once and it looked really good) once in their alternate game.Want to switch it up on the road and go back to "the original Tennessee Titans" look? Wear the navy pants with the white jersey's occasionally. That could still work.I just have no clue why this team is so damn conservative with what they wear. They have all of these potential options, and they stick with that lame-ass columbia blue/navy blue combo at home (which is BY FAR, the worst of all of their potential combos). Perhaps they're doing a pink out and it's t shirts on the seats??I think, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, that white on navy is the titans worst possible UNO combo. The pants don't match the yolk or the helmet and it just does not flow well at all. Any other combination seems to flow well because of that, or they go monochrome which I think works for them.
