Jeez, that was a horrific injury. That reminded me of when a kid on my hockey team broke his leg like that in Peewee ,although not as severe, the bottom part of his calf was at about a 45 degree angle. It was pretty bad. Back on topic, I hope Ware makes a full recovery and is able to come back. He's only a sophomore, so there's hope.

Also, c'mon Cujo, I thought you were better than that.

I don't see a problem with it. He did warn you, after all. It's not like he posted the GIF.

Wow, many prayers to Ware and his family.

But back on topic, Louisville looks downright impressive. They should get past WSU. Michigan's luck has got to run out eventually, so they will not beat Syracuse, and dang sure wont beat Louisville.

It's hard to imagine that little of a jump could cause an open fracture of that magnetude. When I see something like that, I question a lot of things.

I hope his career is not over. I'm praying that he recovers, and is able to play again.

Edit: I checked some scores and the Lady Cards are leading Baylor by 10 at the half.

OK, I'm officially in favor of bringing some major league sports team (any!) to Louisville so as to kill the local athletic department and get the sidewalk alumni here to shut up.

It looks like it was just a small jump but it can happen at any height or moment it's all how the pressure shifts through your legs sometimes there is very little pressure other times its too much and the pressure can't move fast enough causing your bone to snap.

Hit play on the video and pause right at the spot where he lands -- I'm not going any further (until some dip :censored: invariably posts in on some other site as an animated GIF with shades and lolcat text).

Ugh.

Until that point, it's been a pretty great tournament. I'm guessing Louisville over Syracuse in the final, but could see the opposite being true. I don't like any Big Ten team's chances against the zone.

I'm sticking with my pre-tournament prediction: Michigan over Louisville

I'm not feeling so confident about it right now though, Louisville has looked great the entire tournament. And IU's performance against Syracuse's defense didn't exactly boost my confidence either.

That was a horrible injury. I about cried in all honesty. It reminded me of when our high school running back broke his leg in my senior year of high school. Hope he makes a full and healthy recovery. God bless him and his family.

Wait, so you're not 12?

raysfan12 and raysfan24 are definitely sources of confusion.

All we need now is raysfan48.

It hasn't been posted yet? Louisville women upset Baylor.

My day has just gotten better now that the women's team are now in the Elite 8. What's impressive is that the Cards held Griner to 4 points in the first half and Slaughter was just on fire. Very well done Coach Waltz!
