Not sure where you got this information but it's incorrect. They're wearing white over white and Green Bay is wearing green.

Yeah my mistake. They were showing warm ups this morning and it looked like they were in black shirts and gold shorts. From a distance, they looked like the color rush pants.

I know it's not a POTD, but this gets my personal thumbs up. Maybe one of those unsanctioned POTD jawns.

Oh, how I hate how sock design has fallen by the wayside and how I LOATHE pants wordmarks.

Sock design??  That went out with parachute pants.

Go find a calendar and figure out what century we are in and then you'll realize why "sock design" (or 1970's socks) aren't used much anymore and look completely out of place (hello Washington's) when forced on the masses today.

You always pop up when ever sock stripes are brought up. You seem to have an obsession.

i'm not sure why the "standard" isn't to just wear a full-length girdle (like tights) that is the color of the "top" half of the sock, then just wear a crew sock .. this would solve the issue of showing their legs, while also cutting down on the number of "socks" they have to deal with..

In the winter portions of the season, a lot of players wear tights.

I remember seeing it on RGIII a couple of years ago, where you could see where the striped sock ended and the tights began because the seams were a darker red.

As many players that wear them in college, you'd think it would be more prevalent, even in the warmer months..

Adrian Peterson has changed from the VSR4 to the revo speed. I wonder how many guys still wear the VSR4 or the Schutt Air...Also, do not know how guys who switch teams still wear the VSR4 like Anquan Boldin is it possible they get their helmets reconditioned? I've noticed when players wearing older helmets switch teams they typically get new helmets, like Steve McLendon changed from the VSR4 to the schutt vengence most likely due to the jets not having any VSR4's.

That patch looked terrible last night. Ugly design, and way way too big. Also hate how monolithically white it is.

I'm hoping that the Vikings just wore that for the first game, and won't be wearing it the entire season - does anyone know?
