Less travel and available stadiums -- IIRC they own the Rangers old ballpark, plus the Alamodome in SA, and the lease with the University of Houston must still be in force. The teams practice in Dallas then head out to home stadiums, so having 3 local teams they can bus back after games and save cash for Houston and San Antonio. TrueYankee26
Houston now has a USFL and XFL 2023 team. The only market to have both since NY and Tampa will not return. Quote trueyankee26.wordpress.com
TrueYankee26
What a shame the Guardians will not be back. Closest team to East Rutherford is in DC now. Oh well, GO GENERALS! And temporarily go DC Defenders? 2 Quote trueyankee26.wordpress.com

USFL will not last long in a battle vs the XFL with 1 stadium especially if the XFL gets the fan support they had in 2020. They've talked about playing in two markets next year, maybe four.

Since San Antonio is rumored to have yellow as one of it's colors, it's probably just be moved to there. I'd rather they have a new design though. They'll probably come up with some horse themed name or Wild West creation. Too bad Renegades is already taken. I'd say Outlaws could work, but that should only be used by Las Vegas if it's used at all. That logo set was good then and it'd be good now too. 49 minutes ago, JayMac said: The XFL teams could always use the old WWII fighter plane too. Maybe you're coddling them too much?
nuordr
Here are the coaches for the 2023 season with what I am guessing the primary color of the team to be in the background: Arlington and Houston Las Vegas and Orlando: San Antonio and Seattle St. Louis and Washington D.C. Maybe a show of solidarity for the new teams. Then I realized, each saying is for the coach below. 1 Quote https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

harney
"Anchored in greatness". "We are the law around here". "Football and Florida. It's a magical combo". "One giant leap for H-Town". "Football just got even bigger in Texas". I'm betting that these quotes are hinting at the team nicknames.

Seattle still appears to be the Dragons, Orlando the Vipers and some are very generic or just lend to being new, like Las Vegas "There's a brand new game in town".
