All they needed to do was change the helmet and they would've been fine. Now they are just boring! Plain white pants is so PeeWee and High School football! For me they are hard to hate because the last set including the uniforms were just awful anything would have been better. However when you look at basically there first set which was great you still wish for more. If they had never had their first set I would actually like these new uniforms so much better. Back to the Jets which I hope looks alright but I fear will not! PrimalCookie Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 I personally liked the 2013-17 design from the neck down, but I understand there’s a lot of people who didn’t. I’m back and forth on the new look - sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it, and most times I’m somewhere in the middle. It really depends on the combo - teal with white pants looks great, as does black (I even like the monochrome on players where they wear their socks super high, so they look like solid white - it breaks the “yoga pants” look). White/white or white/black is awful. Those combos are just too plain, with no teal to be found outside of the Nike logo (which you don’t see unless you’re looking at it from the side, and even then it isn’t that significant of an element).
