Its good to see he got the most of that FU Education. Something tells me the real reason Urban resigned will be learned in a few months when the NCAA drops the hammer on the Gators program.

I agree. It's almost as gross as that picture someone kept requoting with the kid who sawed off his own eyebrow and wore it as a mustache.

And Will Hill. How a baby fracture its arm. I'd love to know the backstory to how this "question" came to his head.

The NCAA doesn't sanction you for having idiots on the football team (your AYP has to be really low for the NCAA to take action). Or for treating said players like stud stallions.

I know Weekend at Bernie's was a revolutionary movie and all that, but I didn't think anyone would actually have to guts to do it in real life. And for a televised press conference, at that. How did they make his lips move?

Good for him. I hope he can start fresh somehwere...Minnesota? San Francisco? I don't know if he had a relationship with Hue jackson when he was in Cincinnati but maybe Oakland? I know Ochocinco is probably gone now too. So I'm ready for a few 4-12 seasons and a couple high draft picks in the next five years. Giving the Bengals just enough time to reshape their team just as their defense gets old. I wonder we'll see Marvin Lewis resign in the next few days.

None of you asswipes ever post that Al Davis picture again. That's like sports executive shockporn.

This... is one of the very few instances where I wish the CCSLC had a "like" button.

Arizona could use him too.

The Cardinals need some sort of bargaining chip at QB to try and keep Fitzgerald interested.

Bengals QB Carson Palmer will demand a trade, and is willing to play retirement card if necessary.

How long until McCarthy blames this on the Steelers?

Never.

I'm not insane. I'm not Lights Out or Willmorris. I am capable of looking at a situation such as this rationally without concocting some sort of conspiracy.

This is all on the Bengals. Palmer has had to work under Bob Bratkowski for his whole career. Bratkowski is widely known as one of the worst OC's in the entire NFL and he's coming back again. The Bengals have also had a less than stellar offensive line for most of Palmer's career. What's probably the final straw, they went 4-12 and didn't change anything. Any other franchise goes 4-12 and they blow it up. The Bengals go 4-12 and status quo remains the same. It's probably more difficult than we know to work in that environment under the ownership of Mike Brown. He probably just wants to go play somewhere dysfunctionality is not the norm.

That said, he was awful this season. Bad decisions, missed passes, missed wide open receivers. Truth be told, he really wasn't that great in 09 when they won the division, save for a few game winning drives. He's not a top 10 quarterback at this point in his career.

What'll probably happen is he'll go to another franchise with a competent offensive coordinator and he'll blow up and be the player everyone thought he'd be.

I'm hoping that this is the case. I don't even care if the Bengals go 4-12 or worse for five more years. I honestly don't care enough about the NFL that much to have it bother me 'my team' sucks for a while.

How in the hell does that have anything to do with the Steelers?

Secondly, who would even want Palmer's overrated ass?

Kinda amusing this gets a better reaction from LO then it did the intended recipient.

Vince Young, Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb, and now Carson Palmer. Good news for Arizona, Carolina, Cleveland, and San Francisco. Plenty of quarterbakcs for the taking this offseason!
