dfwabel
If there is a team to take down UK, that would be VCU.Stick to telling us the revenues of Lousiville basketball or Rick Pitino's next affair in an Italian RestaurantThe last 10 minutes of VCU/IU has been painful to watch.Game minutes or real time? Both are painful because of all the media timeouts and those taken by teams in the last 2:00 to play.
infrared41
I can't wait for the day after a game when a player finally answers the ubiquitous "tell us how you got this win" question by saying "we scored more points than they did." If there is a conversation more vapid than the post game interview by the equally vapid sideline reporter, I have yet to run across it.
dfwabel
This game is about to get away from The Mayor. He may have to make Johnny Orr coach and he suits up with Jeff Grayer and Marcus Fizer!B1G is 8-1 so far and if Michigan actually scored a point in the last 4:10 last night they could have had a chance to win.OH! The Mayor pulls a Larry Eustachy and gets a T in the tournament! And Rafftery is there like he was at The Palace! "Where are the assistant coaches!" rvrdgsfn
Well, that stung a little but I'm still proud of VCU. I think this is just the beginning of a great future.... On a side note, maybe we can finally get that football team???

AnythingChicago
With a couple of free throws missed by VCU, my bracket went from being potentially poised to be really good to be basically busted.Oh, March Madness.
Cujo
Baylor's Canadian sharpshooter Helsip is torcing Colorado with six 3s in the first half alone! Buffs hanging in though, only down 2 at the half.

Having lived there, I totally get how a person's world could revolve around UK, IU and U of L basketball. Except for the Derby, there really is nothing else of import in that area. The possibility of all three programs making it into the Sweet Sixteen is like mixing Christmas, Halloween and the Fourth of July all together. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

vmd9
I guess the MAC should get some well deserved respect after tonight. What people have forgotten about Ohio U is they are the third best team in the conference. Akron and Buffalo were 1 and 2, with Kent State very strong and underrated as well. They will beat USF and move on.
