By the way, Niners should be happy if they're lucky enough to go 8-8.

Never trust the Yorks to get anything right.

This is going to be a REALLY fun run with a lot of these young QBs. Some will drop off, no doubt. But this is the best young crop of guys I’ve seen in quite some time. That’s pretty rare.

2012 should have been transcendent -- Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin, Ryan Tannehill and Brandon Weeden were picked in the first round. There were three Super Bowl-winning QBs in the draft though: Russell Wilson. Nick Foles and the legendary Brock Osweiler.

Actually, 8-8 seems about right for the Niners. They’re still pretty far off of being legitimately competitive. 8-8 would be a step in the right direction for them at this point.

It happened again to Clay Matthews, and this one was even more bullsh!t. The NFL wants defensive players to defy the laws of physics apparently.

To quote someone from the NHL playoff thread (I forget who): Hooray, I was wrong! In my face!

If jimmy g is out for any lengthy amount of time I’d say 5-11 maybe 6-10

So the Jags beat Brady by double digits, yet lose to Gabbert/less then 100% Mariota?

Some things are guaranteed in this league: the Bengals will beat the Ravens, the Steelers will beat the Bengals, the Patriots will beat the Steelers, and the Titans will beat the Jags. I'm always reminded of 1999, the season where the Jags went 15-0 vs the rest of the league and 0-3 vs Tennessee. They just can't beat them.

When was the last time Miami went 3-0 till today?

Also, Bolts miss the extra point, Rams up by 1 in the Battle of Los Angeles.

The NFL and its officials' war against momentum is really something else. In addition to throwing a home run ball with a defensive offsides call, it seems like another good strategy might be for a QB to take an unblocked sack if it's just going to be a first down and 15 yards in your favor.

I metioned it last week, but Blake Bortles is the prototypical type of QB that the Patriots struggle against. They could shut down Peyton Manning in his prime, but the next week give up 30+ points to Matt Flynn or Cleo Lemon.

The Chargers suck.

And they’re losing to their crosstown rivals.

Why do they have crosstown rivals? That’s stupid.

Why are they in LA? That’s stupid.

Football is stupid.

Go Chargers.

G-ddamnit.

So will Ryan Fitzpatrick continue what he's doing or will he go back to being Ryan Fitzpatrick and suck again?
