A great season for Columbus but at least we won a series. Hopefully McAvoy sits for game one. Refs blew that call.Gotta hope a bunch of jerks take the east.

Given I’m still not over the Werenski play against Pittsburgh two years ago, I doubt I’ll get over the McAvoy/Anderson hit anytime soon. It’s whatever, but it’s tiring.

End of the day, the Blue Jackets aren’t good enough to have been in a spot to steal 1 and 5 on the road and not come through either time. That, paired with the early third-period no-shows in 4 and 5, is what did them in. Better team won the series.

CBJ are in this weird spot where most of the core is young and locked up for at least a few more years, but the top three guys on this team are all UFAs, and the two best are definitely leaving. D core is intact for years, which is lovely, and they need a netminder to step up. Retaining Duchene needs to be the top priority. Put yourself in a position to succeed in what may be a weak Metro in coming years.

Hope this is more them turning the corner, and not their best chance gone by the wayside.

I hate this world.

I'll be behind the Bunch of Jerks, if only it annoys Don Cherry even more.

I saw, I came, I left.

I'm a Sabres fan.

Rather die than cheer for the Hurricanes. Typically, Boston sports also fall into this category. But, the Hurricanes are a rare exception.

Movin' On!

This was a hell of a series, and I've developed a ton of respect for the Blue Jackets (maybe besides Ryan Anderson) and the fanbase. I think the Bruins were the more talented team, but like Brass said, the Blue Jackets outplayed them for much of the series; their shot-blocking and board play was especially impressive, the Bruins looked completely out of sorts in those tie ups. I got to see you guys live in that 2-1 overtime game in March, and I was worried about a full series against you. Obviously, it turned out alright, but my fears were certainly founded regardless. I'm also impressed by the fans. Even at the end where it was obvious it was over, they were still there yelling and chanting as loud as they could. Really impressed.

On the Bruins end, Tuukka played like the hall of famer he is (look at the stats), and the defense played excellently. I feel pretty good about the team going forward.

That being said, time for some some nightmare flashbacks of the 08-09 season!

I've got a dribbble, check it out if you like my stuff; alternatively, if you hate my stuff, send it to your enemies to punish their insolence!

No joke I was just talking to some people about how fun that would be.

Anyways, Hurricanes don’t affect Boston. So I’m pumped. Also... Rask for Playoffs MVP?

I was rooting for Columbus and was bummed to see them get eliminated.

But for some reason, that's the rumor and idk why. Idk why the Panthers. But it's there.

umm.... wouldn't a Sabres (or any Buffalo) fan hate BOSTON even more?

I saw, I came, I left.

Too bad. Wish the CBJ couldve slayed the Boston demon, but this postseason will live on. The way they completely dominated the best team the NHL has seen in a long time will not soon be forgotten.

Please, Carolina. The last thing they need is another dang victory parade.

I agree with something that was posted here earlier. I can't remember who.

You have all these underdogs defeating top seeds. So for the possibility of fans getting a good compelling Stanley Cup final, the odds just increased. But then, it all leads to another Boston Championship. Ugh.........

Lame. This sucks.

Sweeping the Lightning is one of the coolest things that’s ever happened. We’ll always have that, but going down in the next round removes a lot of the shine. If there was ever a year they could’ve won it all, it was this year. And now the two best, maybe three best players are likely gone.

And now a bunch of spoiled brats in Boston are gonna get their third championship in 8 months. Sports are awful.
