Derek
Looks like the Great Lakes Loons (Dodgers-A) are unveiling new logos on February 13th (http://www.milb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20160112&content_id=161698204&fext=.jsp&vkey=news_t456&sid=t456):Looks like they're keeping their colors, which is surprising for a Dodgers affiliate as of late, but it is good that they are keeping them. I've always liked dark green and red together. For reference, here's their current logo: Wow...that's a funky number font. It almost looks like it's moving or 3D. My best guess is that it's supposed to vaguely resemble webbed feet?I see numbers floating on water. Very reminiscent of a loon floating on a lake.my thoughts as well. feels very brandiose to me. KCScout76
Believe it or not, Catchers & Pitchers report to camp in about a month (as of this writing). Minor League teams are also gearing up. In Detroit, they have set up three Independent teams for the 2016 season. The logos (an artist from around the CC boards) style looks familiar. Well here you go; I'm liking the Unicorns logo. Sodboy13
I like the Loons package a lot, especially the fisherman and the interlocking "GL". The old one was bad (Chicago for a font on a professional sports team?), but Brandiose really showed good work here in doing a proper cleanup instead of trashing it and going xxxx-treme. And, as pointed out by the mothership, the old logo package had a swinging loon, too. So while that may be a Brandiose hallmark/crutch, at least there's precedent on this one. Gothamite
I never mind having a swinging version. I just find it amusing that it's become so ubiquitous. Quote The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
