The Rams haven’t yet worn their “road” jerseys in the playoffs (Tampa wore white), so couldn’t they still designate the alt as their “road” set for the playoffs?

Rams won their only Super Bowl in basically that white jersey. If they either choose to or get stuck playing a Super Bowl in that god awful bone set, I’m gonna be annoyed as hell.

Everything thought it was the Browns time to take over the North, but it turns it the Bengal's time.

Until next year when the NFL flips on its head again and we're all fascinated with the new shiny object. (Those very Browns you mention were last year's version) I'm enjoying this Bengals run as much as anyone, but I gotta tap the brakes on the "they own the division for the foreseeable future" talk. Baltimore is going to be healthy next season. If (and it's a big if) Baker Mayfield can return to 2020 form, the Browns won't be an easy out for anyone. Then there's the Steelers who always seem to find a way to be competitive. Add in the fact that the Bengals won't be playing a 4-12 schedule next season and it all adds up to being a bit early to be crowning them division champs for the next 10 years.

And especially to the Bengals fans. I don't think even you guys had this team going this far. It's awesome when long-suffering teams break through.

Hell no. Nobody did. If I'd put money on them to make the Super Bowl before the season I'd be able to pay off my house. They won six games in 2019 and 2020 combined. Their over/under for wins was 6.5. Forget the 99 Rams, they're :censored:ing Leicester City.

You know we're going to see the story of some fan who took a flier and put a grand on the Bengals to make the Super Bowl back in August.

Last night was the most deflated I've felt about sports in a very long time. For some reason, this felt worse than the Chiefs comeback in the Super Bowl. I didn't expect the 49ers to get this far, but it still sucks.

On the plus side, my best friend is a lifelong die-hard Bengals fan, so the 49ers coughing it up saved my friendship and group chat a lot of potential anguish over the next 2 weeks. I'm all in on the Bengals.

Doesn’t work like that. 49ers wanted to wear white throwbacks for SB LIV but were shut down despite wearing red until that point. No exemption, no white.

Yeah that’s what I figured. I thought the Niners had worn their regular white jerseys in the playoffs already, though. Could be wrong about that.

I was just hoping we'd break the playoff win drought this year. I wasnt expecting us to go this far.

Now, y'all know I'm a Cowboys die-hard and that'll never change (though I wish I could sometimes..), but I gotta say, as a born and raised Angelino, I still can't believe that not only the LA Rams are back, but now they're going to their second Super Bowl in 6 seasons here. It's unbelievable. The LA Rams in their first run here, were a good team in the 50's, 60's and 70's but they were god awful in the 80's, save for a few good teams every now and then, until they left LA in the mid-90's. Only one Super Bowl appearance in that entire time frame.

But now, in their second run, they have two Super Bowl  appearances since their return in 2016. They have an opportunity to win the cities' first Super Bowl in nearly 40 years, and their first Super Bowl in their rightful home. It's more than any of us LA kids who grew up without a home town team, could have ever asked for. It seemed like a pipe dream my entire childhood. I remember being on these very boards in my early 20's excitedly discussing the prospects of the Rams possibly returning back to LA, eagerly discussing rumors and their validity which would be giving my city a football team again. To now, being in my early 30's, watching the LA Rams play in a Super Bowl hosted in their very own stadium, right here in Los Angeles (only a few miles from where I grew up no less). It's surreal.

It's definitely been a joy cheering for them and supporting them since their return home.

I don't see the Rams losing a 2nd Super Bowl in 4 years.

McVay's playcalling in the NFC Championship was...shaky, to be light. I can absolutely see the Bengals being able to beat the Rams if that keeps up, especially since they've been pretty good defensively and the Rams' rushing has been kinda crap all postseason.

Not sure this is the right thread for this, but:

Does anyone know why the Bengals had their trophy presentation after the AFC Championship game at midfield? For years, they've always had it in the locker room if the away team wins. I never really understood the rationale for doing that in the first place nor for changing it now.

Wow I never really noticed that. Some quick research shows that when the Patriots won at Arrowhead in 2018 they held the trophy presentation in the locker room. Looks like the Bucs got their trophy on the field at Lambeau last year so I guess last year.

I know a lot of people who went to Kansas City for the game and they said the Chiefs cut the audio and turned off the video on the scoreboards so they couldn't hear or see the trophy presentation. That's some poor loser bullshirt if you ask me, which is weird because everyone said Chiefs fans were overwhelmingly nice before and even after the game.
