I guess they are just following the precedent set earlier.IMAGES REDACTEDThe Mets did it in 2004 for Shea's 40th...But for it's final season in 2008, home only. However if they're going to have a patch on a hat and a patch on a jersey, I think, because of the shape of it, that would look great on the back of a cap where the MLB logo-man usually is. (Preferably just nix the whole thing)The one that's the most unnecessary is the "A" logo patch. You already have it in the already used roundel on the one arm (which I didn't like when they put on the jersey in the first place), then on the jersey, and the hat. It makes it worse that the "A" patch is on the right sleeve where it's right next to the "A" in "Angels"If you have to have a sleeve patch, choose the roundel. At least it's a slightly different element than the others that are already in the uniform.
