Sport Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 I really like this. Only gripes: They're called the Black Bears, but it feels like more emphasis was placed on the mountains. Also, if they must use the baseball sun it should be have a black outline around it to maintain consistency with the other outlines throughout the logo. That white butting up against the blue is visually jarring for this reason and looks unfinished. And in this context it'd be okay to use a yellow baseball. Not everything has to be literal all the time. I mean, West Virginia's mountains aren't actually black and light blue either. But overall, really nice job.
