2021 NFL Season - Adults Arguing About Matt Stafford

Recommended Posts

Eh, the Seahawks are having a lost year and the Cardinals look like the team poised for the future.

Loading up on vets is great when it works (like Tampa Bay last year), but less great when it doesn't (lots of other times).

That's just wrong and you know it.

They beat a JV high school team...Get it right. 🤷‍♂️

I can't speak for Von Miller since I really don't pay any mind to the AFC West, but I do every now and then wonder how certain guys are still in the league--and playing at something close to a high level.  Like I keep looking at Tampa D-Line and wondering how in the world Jason Pierre-Paul is still playing--only to completely forget that Ndamukong Suh still plays on that same line.

Ol' man Brady must be inspiring some kind of feigned-youth movement down there or something...

Von's still on pace for 10 or 11 sacks. He's not the force he used to be but he's still good and still demands attention, which now you can't give him with Aaron Donald.  Good move for LAR.

Regarding the MNF game... I think the Chiefs are broken.

Or tired. They played in three AFC Championship Games in a row, plus the two Super Bowls. That's an extra half season over three. It takes a toll.

I’m at the game, can confirm, Zeon Kansas City is exhausted. Would be great if they can pull off the win, but my point still stands.

Yeah, I’ve seen more times a team played like the Washington Whatever Team rather than an all-star lineup when loading up on veterans. The Rams should probably contend for a Super Bowl this year but after this year?

If they win it doesn't matter that the mid-to-late 2020s are gonna look a lot like the Linehan/Spagnuolo Triumph of Death years.
