It's one thing for the cap logo to represent the nickname rather than city, it's another thing when it's a nickname of the nickname. The Phila A's jersey/cap would look great in green and gold. I agree. When your cap is that good you shouldn’t have an alternate. (Looking at you, Braves.) Ideally, as others have stated, they just use the home cap 100% of the time, but the gold O on solid green would work better than changing the colors of the main cap if a second cap was absolutely required.
